the life of Veera (Digangana Suryavanshi) will spice up
proceedings in Star Plus' popular show, Ek Veer Ki
Ardaas Veera (Beyond Dreams Productions).
Vivek, who was earlier working in the corporate sector
in Chandigarh, got to become an actor accidentally. A
cool time pass of participating in Mr. Chandigarh
contest changed his destiny, and he was pronounced to
be the winner of it. Soon after this, the young lad got
quite a lot of modelling offers, after which he shifted
base to Mumbai to turn to acting.
Talking about his journey from Chandigarh to Mumbai,
Vivek told Tellychakkar.com , "Coming to Mumbai was
accidental for me. I am a very spontaneous guy and
after being advised by someone, I took the decision of
shifting to Mumbai for work. It has been six months in
Mumbai, and I got to learn lot of stuff like camera,
acting, diction, fighting to build a strong career for
myself in acting. I have done theatre too when I was
doing my bachelors degree in UK."
On his role in Veera, the actor stated, "My character of
Rajveer Thakur is basically like a coconut, soft from
inside and hard from outside. He is very idealistic and
has zero tolerance towards crime. He's an orphan and
holds that in his heart and having a family is a big thing
for him since he misses it. A very sharp and principle
oriented guy, he will have a good rapport with Ranvijay
(Shivin Narang) which will prompt Ranvijay to choose
him for Veera. Viewers can expect interesting twists in
the tale. As for the character, the more you see him the
more he'll grow on you."
The man gets to wear a khaki uniform in his very first
outing on TV as actor. "Yes, my character is a cop and I
got a great feeling wearing it. I would like to give my
individuality to it."
On shooting with his co-actors in Veera, Vivek said,
"Digangana, Sneha Wagh, Shivin are very sweet and I
started to gel with them from my first day of shoot. I
did not have any pressure from the director or the co-
actors. They have abundance of experience and
welcomed me to the unit. This is an ideal place to
shoot."
Vivek, we wish you a great future ahead!!
