The party was coming to an end. Kalpana wa happy that she got to know her collegues and also got a chance to interact with them. It was midnight 2:30 when the party got over. Pooja along with Kalpana went towards Raghav to thank him for the party. Kalpana was hesitant to come along coz she didn't have a nice start with Raghav and thought he won't like her presence. But Pooja insisted on coming along with her.
Pooja: Kalpana there is no point in running away from the situation. If not today then some other day you will have to face him and whether you want to accept it or not but he is our boss and it is YOU who have to go ahead and approach him. In order to mend the relation or rapport with Sir you have to come with me. If u can't apologise which I know you wouldn't coz that will hurt your self respect then atleast come along with me and thank him for the party . See he didn't fire you which defines his intentions so now its your turn. Be professional you cannot afford enmity with crocodiles while staying in water. I hope you understand what i meant
Kalpana who until now was not ready, not coz she was running away from the situation but somewhere she didn't want to face him again so early realised her folly. Pooja's last few lines did manage to put some senes in her. She knew he is THE RAGHAV SINGHANIA and enmity with him will cost her her career and she definitely didn't want it. She won't apolosgise but yes she can behave cordially with him. He has a upper hand and thats a fact which she cannot change so its better to be cordial rather than creating more problems. She nodded and both of them proceeded at the direction where Raghav was standing.
Pooja: Sir, the party was really nice like always. Thank you so much and have a nice weekend Sir. She hit Kalpana's hand with her elbow thus signalling her to say something.
Kalpana: The party was really nice Sir, being my first one I really enjoyed and got to know my colleagues better. Thank you for the party Sir and have a great weekend.
Raghav looked at her in his mind he was expecting an apology from her when he saw her coming towards him but was lil, not completely satisfied that she said thanks. With a 2 inch smile on his face he welcomed both of them and wished them as well. Both the girls left for home.
Raghav: So you thanked me today but didn't apologise thats okay I will make you do that also and that too very soon. He smirked taking Kalpana's thank you as a slight victory for she did bent before him.
Kalpana in her mind said to herself: Okay so I said thanks to him but y do I feel that his smile had a different meaning. It was not in sync with his eyes, who I think were expecting an apology from me. But NO Mr Singhania don't take this thanks as a victory. I won't apologise to you for today's incident not now not ever.
Pooja while driving her car asked Kalpana about her first party experience knowing fully well that she was lost in her thoughts. Kalpana came out from her trance and replied "it was okay...infact much better than I expected". They were having a smooth ride when suddenly the car started having problem and it stopped. Both of them looked at each other it was certainly not the way they wanted their night to end. Pooja came out and started looking for problem. Kalpana too came outside though she knew she was of no help as she doesn't know even A of car forget about repairing. She was staring at Pooja who was trying to do something God knows what but was moving her hands here and there. She knew the night is not gonna end soon.
Raghav who was passing by saw the two of them standing before the car and trying to do something with it, exactly what even he couldn't figure it out. But one thing was sure they needed help. He stopped his car a little ahead from the place where their car was standing. He went there and asked " Need help". Raghav who was oftenly termed akdoo, khadoos, egoistic was standing before them and his voice was ver gentle, it carried the concern that he had seeing them in this state.
Kalpana was about to say NO but Pooja interrupted in time and explained the situation. Raghav offered them lift which she readily accepted for now it was important for her and Kalpana to reach home. Though reluctantly but Kalpana agreed and went with Pooja. After dropping Pooja to her home Kalpana sat in front for she saw the angry glare that Raghav gave when she opened the back door. Kalpana didn't utter a word nor did she looked at him. Even though Kalpana was sitting besides him yet her silence and behaviour was giving him the feeling of being her driver. Raghav by this time realised that Kalpana was not actually thankfull to him & the thanks was plainly out of courtesy. He felt as if his blood was boiling in anger. He for the first time met someone as stubborn as him. Just when he was about to say something Kalpana screamed at the top of her voice SIR... Raghav who until now was busy staring at her looked ahead. Fear written on his face. He tried to control his car but...
Okay guys m stopping here till next update you all keep guessing who met with accident Raghav or Kalpana or both. The storm has hit them lets see what change it brings with it. The effects are yet to be seen. Do hit the like button and share ur feedback through your comments.
