Vittal can't imagine he is same Raghav singhania who handled himself so well after his dad's death. Raghav who fought back every situation and emerged as winner is now so helpless. Indeed this man loves his princess very much.
Seeing Kalpana's family infront of him, Raghav can not control himself and accepts his every mistakes. he does not ask for forgiveness as he can't forgive himself. For the first time he is standing lowering his eyes. His shield of arrogance and attitude is not there. he is standing there as a man who is on verge of losing everything. Kalpana's accident has done the wonder which her love could not do. Everyone can see penance in his eyes. He had done terrible crime and he is paying for that.No one utters a single word to comfort him but in their mind, everyone has forgiven him.
it has been 3 hours since kalpna was taken into OT. Doctor comes out of OT and announces that Operation is successful but next 48 hours are critical.
It is night but everyone is sitting their as statue.
Kamla is struggling her inner thoughts : How could I do this to my Kalpi? she had suffered everything silently but did not share a word with me.Kamla remembers the flashbacks of Kalpi's childhood. But then also my Kalpi was so mature. I had snatched her innocence and childhood.I have failed miserably as a mother. I can't forgive myself ever.
Raghav is sitting at a distant corner as he does not have courage to face everyone and he can't leave kalpana. Pakhi comes there and sits beside Raghav.
Pakhi : Raghav, My dad and mom got arrested for killing your father and attempting murder on Kalpana.
Raghav : How?
Pakhi : I have complained against them.
Raghav : Please forgive me Pakhi and pray that my Kalpana does not suffer for my wrong doings. She is not at Fault. Sorry for everything I have done to u.
Pakhi : I have forgiven u Raghav at the very moment I had seen Kalpana risking her life for U. I got to know the meaning of love. I was also there and wanted to save you but risking my own life did not occur to me.You both are made for each other and dont worry Kalpana will be alright.
Kamla listens their conversation and thinks 'My one daughter is struggling for life and my another daughter became mature in one day. I always wanted to keep Pakhi happy as I wanted to see the childhood of my kalpi in Pakhi baby. Circumstances made my Kalpi mature before time and I had to miss her teen years for her better future. I had send her away when a girl needed her mother badly and she had never forgiven me for that. and if I know a little about her, she will not forgive Raghav baba'
24 hours pass but Kalpana does not gain consciousness. and in this time two person did not move an inch from the hospital - one is Vittal and other is Raghav. Vittal is there for his princess and Raghav is there for his life.
time passes by. Kalpana gains consciousness for few moments. she sees blur figures of her father and mother. she also sees Pakhi consoling Raghav and she again faints.
another 24 hours pass and in the mean time Kalpana had gained consciousness for a moment for two or three times. every time she had seen Blur figures of her family members and Raghav. In half conscious state , she sees some flashbacks of a man pushing another man and a man lying on the ground.she cries out : Rahul.
Vittal shocks to the core. He is hearing this name from Kalpi's mouth after 2 years.He thought she had forgotten everything. He rushes to Kalpi's room and sits beside her and Kalpana manages to sit on the bed and hugs him tightly.
Kalpana : Baba, he is alive. we have to search him.
Vittal : He is dead Kalpana. I had seen his dead body.
Kalpana : No baba,It was not his. I know he is alive and we have to find him
saying so , she fainted again.
Everyone including Raghav are standing near Kalpana's bed with so many questions in their eyes.Vittal ignores them and goes out of the room. He is in deep thoughts. He has to talk to Dev who has gone home to bring food for everyone.
Doctor comes and checks Kalpana. He announces that Kalpana is out of danger but she will take time to gain consciousness. Vittal is sitting tensed. Dev reaches hospital with food and he gets happy to know that kalpana is alright. Vittal takes him a side and tells him recent happenings.
Dev : Uncle, I thought kalpana had gotten over that incident.
Vittal : I was also in this illusion. But today she again mentioned him.
Dev : Oh god. it is terrible.
Kamla has listened their conversation. Her doubt is confirmed . Vittal is hiding something big.she had seen vittal's white face when Kalpi is blabbering.
Nurse comes and informs them that Kalpana has gained consciousness.
Everyone rushes to Kalpana's room but vittal stops everyone and says that he will meet her princess first. He is afraid if Kalpi again mentions that name.
Vittal sits beside Kalpana.
Vittal : I am sorry princess. I knew in my heart that u could not do anything wrong. But I did not support you when you needed me.
Kalpana is too weak to say something but tears of happiness are flowing from her eyes. She gathers all her strength and says : I know baba. Aaji and Dev had told me that you called them everyday to know about me.
vittal touches her forehead and sighed breath of relief that kalpana did not mention that incident.
vittal : don't say anything. you are weak.
Kalpana closes her eyes and sleeps.
Vittal comes out of the room . Kamla wants to go into room to meet her daughter but Vittal stops her:'She is sleeping. Don't disturb her now'.
Kamla : I will not say a single word. I will just see her.
Vittal allows her to go.
Raghav does not have courage to ask permission to see Kalpana once but Kamla bai calls him to accompany her to see Kalpana. Kamla and Raghav enters and sees Kalpana lying peacefully on bed.Her head and stomach are bandaged. Kamla can't control her tears any more. She thanks god for saving her daughter. Raghav is too hurt to express any emotions. Both are standing silently as they knew that somehow they are responsible for Kalpana's condition.
Kamla bai breaks the ice: 'I hope that Kalpi will forgive you and me , Raghav baba'
Raghav : Thanks Kamla maa. I just want her happiness. I don't want anything else not even her forgiveness.
