Omgg a thread regarding revengee! I just finished season 1 & loved it<3 So glad this has been opened, EHT is ok I just wish it didn't drag & but then again that's indian dramas:|

I love Revenge and there can be no comparison to it!

However, this show is doing well too according to Indian show standards! 😊

And no it's not dragging (I saw someone saying it ) Infact it's going quite fast like Revenge ! Hope they maintain the pace otherwise EHT is so gonna lose charm!

Okay so today my sis was watching this show. N i kinda wanted to see how the characters r compared to revenge characters.coz i never planned on watching these series🤔

According to me shauryas mom is the only character well played. It was the 1 character tht reminded me of victoria.the way she plays the piano n is in deep thoughts. N even her expressions.

I watched half of it n i kinda found it dragging. The lead was near her sisters bed in a hosp i gues n talking for like sooo long ...nshe said main badla lungi ...durga badla legiii all the time same dialogue n then camera moving on diff angles. It was a lil annoying. Maybe coz istopped watching such series long time bak . So kinda annoyed with alot of background score lol basically half of the series was wasted on her standing near her sis .n thts what we can expect from daily soaps to keep them going on and on

Durga is played well. But i cant compare her with emily thornes character. In the start of the series When emily is near daniel her look of revenge is always there. But when i saw the way durga was acting near shaurya its like nothing revengy is going on.infact shaurya has evil smirky expressions. As if hez hea for revenge 😆 . Ofcourse to take him to her side she is supposed to act nice n all. But the facial expressions werent as good as they r supposed to be. The viewers r suppose to smell the vengence wen shez near him. I just watched half the epi n i dint smell tht . It was more like shez dating him normally. Maybe theyve shown alot expresiions in presvious epis but in tht epi they dint .

So well im not really watching this show. I just wish they wud hav made it a lil less draggy. Coz i love the lead gal since kayamath.😳

@Broken.angel: trust me if you keep comparing you will never like the show 😆 and actually Emily/Durga and Shaurya/Daniel is pretty different here. Daniel wasnt like Shaurya and here Shaurya is portrayed as a rapist and its not just the family but Shaurya is a main target for Durga but for Emily it was mainly victoria first.

and about dragging i used to think the same from i started watching 😆 but its a daily soap airing 6 days a week and eng shows comes once a week so offcourse there will be dragging and I started watching EHT regularly and realized its so much less draggy than all the other indian shows I used to watch.

about Sakshi goenka agreed. she is the star of the show..

i loved loved loved revenge and the season 1 was always the best for me... from day one i was hooked on to the show. but lots of factors prevented me from regularly watching from the scene where emily's truth was almost found out by victoria's best frnd (forgotten her name)... because it was a thriller that cannot be interrupted, i had to leave the series completely, right before it ended... cudnt watch season 2... will watch the show in dvd wen i hv the chance,,,,

revenge was one of its kind and i cannot compare it wt eht, because the scenario, the circumstances, the cultures etc as well as the characters are different. only victoria and sakshi are similar in characterisation, acting, looks and expressions.

eht is so different from indian shows and is a refreshing change from the daily stale stagnant dosage of dragging sagas... all extremely good shows are off air and all boring stuff are on air- such is the quality of our tv... eht is a welcome change and i have something new to look forward to, every day...

i must say i loved the way sakshi is so similar to victoria and vice versa... i like durga/nitya but emily/amanda was really outstanding... i do agree wt one one of the posts above- the continuous scenes of durga talking of revenge need to be reduced...

daniel as a person was different from shaurya, so cant be compared... daniel was certainly better!!

and no. i dont want shaurya durga to get together. its a stupid idiotic misogynist sexist chauvinistic barbaric immoral wrong if a rapist gets married to victim or victim's sister, so better not think of it.

back to revenge- it is one of my fav non-indian shows...
