In Suman and Shravan marriage papers her father's name was mentioned as Sanjiv Tiwari, so I am confused. Anyone any idea about this??

I guess tiwari surname belongs to a certain caste of hindus and its not necessary that they are blood related.. It is like kapoor.. Kareen and arjun both are.kapoor but not relatives... They belong to the same caste

But I don't think in India two persons with the same surname would marry, at least in my state it isn't so... as they would be considered belonging to the same family and hence bro-sis

Kapoor, tiwaris, malhotras, khan etc are cast names like menon and nair in kerala.. They are not relatives.. They just belong to tge same caste... Kareena kapoor dated shahid kapoor and aditya roy kapoor dated shraddha kapoor..

It can be a coincidence
There is nothing wrong with two persons having same surname , getting married
In our place, it's quite common
Especially when surnames are based on caste
