Honestly men lack the spine when it comes to tackling family issues. They just wanna run from family problems. 90% of men want to marry for just one thing - The Girl (and ofcourse the perks that come along...sex, company and kids) Baki sab jaye bhaad mein. They forget that parents, both your and a girl's are an important part of any relationship.It's important you tell your parents in advance what you want out of life and a relationship and incase the things dont match up, you dont end up messing it up for the girl and the family. And that I feel is the difference b/w Shravan and Pushkar here. I loved that they showed the parental issue for both kids in same week. Where Shravan made a point to sort out the mess before hand so that it doesnt cause any problems later especially when he has committed himself to Suman, Pushkar had been just taking all this so lightly and didnt even care to think about how her mom will react when the Tiwaris come for rishta. Thats the difference b/w a careless boy and a responsible man.
