Suman:
Have you ever thought about, how many times you feel those first jitters before you are about to begin with a new project. That project could be anything - big or small. There is always some kind of excitement attached with the fear of failure. But Suman Tiwari hasn't tasted failure so big to keep her down.
Neither will I let the trend begin now.
"Di, all the best!" Preeti kissed my cheek.
We two sisters have been in Delhi since six years. Alone. I was doing my studies for psychology. Wait, scratch that, I now am a psychologist! Today is my first day at Red Cross hospital and god, am I dying in nervousness.
I managed to pull up a brave front, wide smile and thanked her for her wishes before walking inside the hospital.

Shravan:
I was on my regular rounds to the children's ward when I thought I caught a glimpse of somebody who's face I hadn't really forgotten in seven days. Do you all even know how long Seven days are?
I don't even really remember what I ate for dinner last night. Work pressure keeps me on my toes and still, I managed to remember her face as if it were etched in my brain.
I leaned on the door of the ward, watching this girl who was so adorable... Wait, what?
I just called her adorable.
Time to give myself a mental talk.
Shravan, you don't crush on girls you don't even know name of!
She looked so confused that she did not even notice me. A six foot three inch man. Wow.
She walked past me, only to turn around and walk back with a glint in her eyes. Possibly happy to have recognized somebody in a place that looked so foreign to her.
Suddenly, a little worry tugged at the back of my mind. What was she doing in the hospital?
"Um, hi." She waved her face in front of my face, breaking me out of my train of thoughts.

Suman felt a gush or relief wash over her heart. She had never been good around new places and having found this high and mighty cranberry man (that is what she decided to call him!), she felt as if she was not all that lost.
"Um, hi." She waved her hand in front of his face. The way Shravan was leaning on the door and watching her, made her blush a little. Was he checking her out or just seeing totally through her, busy in his thoughts?
"Oh, Hi. Cranberry girl, what a surprise!" Shravan exclaimed.
Suman chuckled. So they were referring to each other as cranberry people!
"Hi, I am Suman." She extended her hand.
"Shravan Malhotra, head of Pediatrician Department here." He shook her hand. Suman looked down at his hand, big enough to envelope her small ones in a warm grasp.
It was weird, but both of them felt a string being connected between them with just a handshake.
Even they did not know, they'd go a long, long way!
