Today's epi was pretty light-hearted.

Today Kanchan was actually thinking about exposing Shravan in front of the families but Suman came to his rescue! I can't believe that he jumped off the terrace 🤣But, as someone proposed earlier, it would've been nice to see a scene like Shravan escaping through Suman's room and then he sees the sketch she made when she was upset. I wonder what present he got for her but unfortunately Suman threw it away lol

Bunty and Shravan are a blast together. Lol I could not stop laughing when Bunty was giving money to Shravan and was telling him to flee the city but you can tell how much Bunty truly cares about Shravan. But the "shaadi ke liye haath maanglo" dialogue was best...he basically was like bro she's wifey material! Lol Suman had me laughing when she was like dude you're hiding in the most obvious place and she was not wrong lol.

The terrace scene was so cute. Esp when Shravan was acting as if the water droplets touched him. He looked so hurt when he saw Suman get hurt. Do dil ek jaan for sure lol I loved his dialogue of "jaan chidkunga iss par". It had me aww-ing the whole time.

Anish & gang are taking their bullying too far and I honestly hate it. Shravan was going to give it back but then he saw Suman and calmed down. It's nice to see the changes she's brought in him. Also major appreciation for Nishant Raghuvanshi, the actor playing Anish. If you hate anish, then Nishant is doing a great job playing his negative role! Also, he's quite handsome. I've looked at his IG too and his captions are so deep. He seems like a really nice guy! I think we get so focused on the leads, that we forget to appreciate the supporting cast so don't forget them!

@bold True! You and I are sailing in the same boat it seems. I was just about to mention it. Nishant is handsome indeed😉 Not to mention this being his first prominent role and he's crushing it👏

Special mentions to the actors playing Kanchan, Vijay Tiwari and Devraj. (Sorry for my ignorance of not knowing their names) They've truly got a strong supporting cast. Everyone looks fresh yet prim and confident.

Here's another big difference between the two! Anish will go to any extent to degrade someone and is clever as a fox. Whereas, Shravan will call him names but he doesn't cross a certain line and won't humiliate them. Even when he lies, he doesn't mean any harm but his lies got the best of him this time. When he was trusting Kanchan so easily, it even showed how naive he is. He's not perfect but he doesn't claim to be either.

Usually I hate the "bad boy" ML but tbh in this show, Shravan really isn't your typical ITV bad boy. He's respectful, kind, and is bringing positive changes in himself for his lady love. He's actually being show trying to make an effort. Usually in other shows, you'll see a lot of arm-twisting, degrading the FL, and other 🤬 being sold as romance. But, the ML will never change his abusive ways and instead gives a sob-story to justify it.

That was another thing I really liked. Shravan understands the concept of consent! He will only take things forward if she's comfortable and on the same page.

@bold: I loved the scene where he grabbed her hand to stop her and she asked him so you will force me? And he is like no and drops her hand. That is something we need to see more of in TV. Genuine respect towards other people’s boundaries.

....Sources reveal that that the show’s makers are planning to start shooting on June 28, keeping all safety regulations in mind. Adequate precautions will be taken during the shoot, and to ensure utmost safety of everyone on the set, there will be some changes in the script and locations as well. While the TV industry is glad to restart work, there is no clarity as of now when new episodes will start airing on channels.

But it says: "Reportedly, the makers will be changing the script of Ek Duje Ke Vaaste 2. Besides, the makers will also be changing the location of the family drama given the crisis situation the nation is dealing with."

I'm a bit worried...they are changing the script & location...what does that mean? If they won't shoot in Bhopal where are they going to shoot at? Also, I don't want their script to change...does this mean they will cut short the school romance and jump to army phase?

I know - but changes are inevitable under current circumstances it seems, that is why I was not too excited about the restart...but sooner or later they have to. Some outdoor stuff can be managed in Mumbai (or wherever they are planning) I'm sure but that won't be anything like original - such pretty locations we got.

About the story - there has to be some foundation to the relationship in order to move on to post-leap assuming the whole story is not changing (if that is the case then we have a brand new show in store 😆).

But don't think cutting the pre-story too short will help much because shooting post-leap with an army set up is not going to be any easier at the moment - they may actually want to wait for a while until the situation improves a bit (post August may be) - just guessing.

I feel like it's more dangerous to shoot in Mumbai than in Bhopal but maybe they didn't get permission from the city. Actually, that makes more sense...maybe they might stretch the school love story because shooting the army sequences would be harder. I just don't want the story to get ruined like season 1 when they made everything revolve around dal

So elated to hear EDKV2 will commence shooting soon. A bit skeptical to read the 'changing of script' though. Hopefully if it's changing, it's for the better...because so far in the 40+ episodes, i had no grudges with it, be it the family drama and the romance/friendship. It was moving at a sensible and loveable pace for me. Fingers crossed that nothing comes to the ruin the most awaited leap or the current track.
