Anas,

I firmly believe that you are the main reason why this show became such a great hit and why so many of us fell in love with Suraj and this show. Nobody else could have portrayed Suraj the way you did. Your expressions are mind blowing and the deep emotional connect we feel towards Suraj is purely because of your acting skills. Whenever Sandhya or Bhabho is hurt, I wan't them to be happy soon, not because I can't bear to see them suffer but because I can't bear to see Suraj's pain in seeing his loved ones hurt. Absolutely no other character in the show (excluding kids) had this effect on viewers. We just can't bear to see Suraj Rathi getting hurt and all credit goes to you Anas.

Suraj Rathi was accepted as the perfect Husband, perfect Son, perfect Brother, perfect Father, perfect Jethji, perfect Tauji, perfect Halwai, perfect Employer, perfect Man etc only because it was portrayed by Anas Rashid. Also, the blackmarks to Suraj's character (sending Sandhya after plane HJ, feeling dejected after Ved's opinion of his profession, giving away Vansh) were due to the fault of the script writers. Even these faults do not cloud Suraj's character, as your acting makes up for all these. Thanks for always giving more than a 100% that it makes up for some of the substandard work going on in the show now and then, more so now. We fans would have loved to see more of Suraj in the later years of the show but unfortunately makers had different ideas. Loyal Anas fans would accept with me that the end of the show is much needed now more than ever as it will pave way for a fresh new phase in our hero's career and life.
