What a sad sad episode. The spoilers had us thinking that this godh bharai was going to be a rambunctious celebration but it was anything but that. A vein of sadness ran thorough it that clutched at your heart and slowly bled. It was almost eery to me. RM was a spooky mansion on the moors from a black and white horror movie where the ghosts were attending a seemingly happy ball. . The long dead matriarch's spirit was still officiating in all her finery. Her thousand year old husband was sitting next to her barely moving a muscle. The heir and his beauteous lover stood on opposite sides of the ball room. To onlookers, he looked like he was doing everything he was supposed to. He was bowing courteously, going thru the motions with grace. She was a doll in her poofy ball gown but the sparkle in her eyes was but a sheen of tears. They finally come together for a slow dance. She looks up into his dead eyes and she knows. She needs to join him for eternity. He swirls her around and dips her. Her lovely neck is arched gracefully towards the spiked tip of the 10000 light chadelier hurtling down noiselessly...
