I would like Anjaan to be Rakshit after all isn't he supposed to be dd's protector. And the way Drishti is shown as a trouble magnet she really does need a powerful protective partner.

Well that's true but then won't Rakshit's role become insignificant. I mean Anjan seems to be a very important character.

I think we all have misjudged the rakshit being raksak situation.....maybe not dri but the kalvijay ratna needs protection from evil...and supposedly half of it is inside dristi....without it she is nothing but a normal girl who is brave enough but not capable enough to fight......and with the ratna also she has only the power of seeing not killing or protecting herself....so tht makes her more vulnerable while having a oponent like dsachini..whom she can't kill neither destroy alone......even divya had powers & the greater one than dristi but being alone also costs her heavily

Drishti needs new power she can't fight alone. And when she is with Divi only then the light comes from Dri's third eye. Otherwise she is almost powerless.
