Ok the issue here is not whether they will do it or won't they. Physical initimacy is a natural progression in a relationship. Armaan has always been shown as a physical, very touchy touchy kind of guy and the sexual tension between the two has always been palpable. So, that there are some intimate moments between the two is hardly a shocking thing.
To me, however, the way it is being shown is not appealing at all. Something that could have been soft and sensuous, tender and slow, romantic and passionate all rolled into one is being played out on a crass bollywood number to words like nasheela badan and raat ka nasha????
Sorry, but I expected more from a show that showed physical awareness with scenes like Armaan brushing Ridhimaa's hand in the dupatta scene, or their consciousness of each other in the lift when they have to stand so close to each other, or the time when R falls on A on the BB court and he catches a glimpse of her cleavage, or the silent tension of the cardio scene or even in the mini skirt episode where A's actions had a reverence to them and R's showed beautiful surrender.
I, for one never imagined a day in DMG when R would be looking like some chandni bar dancer and A would be looking like and behaving like her rikshaw driver client.
And it does not matter if its a dream or not. The treatment is all wrong and it is so not in DMG style.
Where is the sensitivity? The subtlety?
I know this post will be offensive to many and will soon be closed, because criticism = bashing. But what the heck, I am going to excercise my freedom of speech anyway.

As you said...freedom of speech....and Ive always been a student of Martin Luther King.... so I respect your views.........But I dont agree.
But thanks for clearing the air
So if we're saying the issue is that the precap/promo doesnt look aesthetic enough, according to you......hmm.. I think it looks beautiful, so I really can't say much else, coz I don't even see that point to begin with.
But.....each to his own, hey!

Hahaha😆OMG thats so funny😆

See I have no problem with these scenes. But I agree with you. I feel like its just not the DMG style. I guess their relationship is progressing. Why do they have to do whatever they are doing to a song and dance number? Remember the silence behind that scene where Ridz puts her hand across Armaans chest (b4 jan confession) That was soo classy and fit into the story perfectly.

@preeti - yes to each his own and so glad that you appreciate how different people like differnt stuf and it does not make either of them right or wrong. Its just the way it is.
@Neelu - Oh yes the cardio scene. how could I forget that. I will add it to my example above if you don't mind. And really it baffles me why there is a song and dance number every other episode. why why?

Man... we come from a country where song/dance is a culture in itself 😆
Khush ho..gaana gao....
udaas ho..gaana gao...
shaadi hai... nacho, gao...
romance aa raha hai...gaana gao, switzerland jao...
hamaare rag-rag nas-nas mein dance aur gaane daud rahe hai.. 😆
but jokes aside... I think the song is beautifully chosen and will set the mood accordingly....but seriously, its hard to make comments before actually watching the scene..lets wait and see first, whether the song is necessary or not.

@preeti - yes absolutely lets wait and see. I really should not be taking a stand on it before it airs but somehow R' dupattaless, tummy baring shot just jarred me to the core. I hope for all our sakes that your take on it turns out to be true and the actual depiction is classy and beautiful.

About the choice of song, I do find it strange choice... because this song is really a morning after song....a song that talks about the residual nasha, the feelings that lives on after, the khumaari... but yahan par toh it seems to be happening in the song itself.

hey sona!
Very well said and very true. This surely is not the dmg we know of. I havent seen it and somehow cant get myself to but from what I read and hear doesnt sound like the DMG i grew to love and at one stage revere. What is the need for a bollywood number such as this and midriff and tummy baring scenes, and all this filmy style when A-R have conveyed it all before with a touch, a glance, and in complete silence, pindrop silence in fact which only accentuated the feelings.
From that to this is like such a big let down. It is not why it shown or will it happen or not that matters like you so rightly said but how it is shown and the need for it that matters. Is there need for this crass display with a song to match and all the while to think introduction fo sukriti raised my hopes of better things to come. Even if it is a dream sequence, wouldnt it have been wonderful if shown in an aesthitically pleasing manner ala DMG style and well the doctor Armaan we know of has too much class to go about it this way so time to butcher the only mainstay as well now creatives??
