You might as well learn some app programming if you have that kind of time.

@ Mister.K
I think 'caps' are a reasonable and fair idea. Each country should be allowed to put immigration caps and quotas based on their social, economic needs and processing ability.

Merkel made a few mistakes, but she was in a tight spot. All of a sudden thousands of Syrian refugees barged their way into Europe. They did not know what to do or where to send them. Merkel would have been wise to herd them into a secure area and take some time to chalk out a better action plan instead of opening the immigration path right away.

I think many people view children as solutions. The world is shit, but at least I have this ball of pure innocence with me. All is good. I should call it delusion tools, not solutions though.

Let Arwen learn about Allaudin Khilji. All knowledge is worth having. Who knows, she may end up winning at pub trivia and get a $50.00 gift card.

We will talk about what's best for her later.

The important thing is to encourage independence by stepping aside from time to time.

Btw, any take on the attacks on Dalits by Cow vigilantes who I doubt really care for Cows but for their own vendetta. Will come to bite BJP.

Lift these stupid bans on cow slaughter. As long as someone doesn't steal cattle, it's no one's business what they do with their own cattle. Milk it, eat it, use it as a beast of burden, sell it, their wish. Animal husbandry is a business afterall and it's unfair to expect a businessman to pay for the upkeep of a cow even after it has stopped being profitable. And this was for not even killing a cow, what now, can't even skin a naturally dead cow? Whip these disgraceful animals and excommunicate their family, these medieval barbarians will understand only medieval punishments.

@Souro - it's not about the cow , or you won't see them in this horrible condition otherwise. It\'s Caste, politics and power struggle. These news are making a round now because media things they are saleable but this caste division is a reality still which we tend to overlook or ignore .

Anybody has suggestions for a good fictional read ? I am sick and tired of reading too much non-fiction.

I don't know what Bengali society did right but for whatever reason caste divide and caste based politics is not prominent in Bengal. Maybe the other states should study what caused Bengali society to be not so obsessed about caste and implement it in their society.
