Somebody should investigate Ravindra Patil's death. The whole story is Fishy with a Capital F.
I'm pinning my hopes on the Supreme Court now, but it'll all be to no avail. Still...people gotta hope.

why does India glorify Salman so much? what good has done?

If the courts have failed why haven't people done anything about it?

We still glorify him like him like he is a God.

It is not only Salman who is glorified by Indians but also SRK, Amir and many more actors.
Surprisingly that was not enough to make Amir's wife feel safe or at home in India 🤢
Indians need to grow up and know the difference between real heroes and make believe heroes🥱

Create pressure on producers and directors to boycott his movies. But given how addicted people are to him, nobody's gonna offer to take this up.

It is not OK to run over the homeless or anyone but for some victims it is compensation that matters.--

Feroz was 12 when the accident took place. He said, "I don't have anything against Salman Khan and we don't want to fight him in court either. All we need is the compensation that is due to us." Feroz who got married last October said, "I will buy myself a house and also help my mother Farida with the money.''

Farida and Feroz moved from Bandra to Malwani after Nurullah's death. While the other victims have got their compensation, Nurullah's family was unable to receive it due to lack of any identification proof. Feroz said, "We didn't have a ration card but I am sure people can help us get the compensation as I am his legitimate son.''

Farida added, "We have been running around to get it for the longest time. There are times when we are not even aware of the hearing date and we miss appearing for it, which only adds to the delay. Please help my son get the money. He works as a mason."

So I rest my case. There is a price for running over someone.

What is the going rate?

I wonder if the next time Salman is out drinking will people line up to get run over...

The victim who lost his legs was hoping for Rs 10 lakshs and relative of the dead victim Rs 19 lakh but later wanted that amount to be hiked due to inflation .

Compensation matters more than conviction to us, says Salman's hit-and-run case victims

Posted on: 07:02 PM IST Dec 10, 2015 | Updated on: 7:24 pm,Dec 10,2015 IST

The victims and family members of Salman Khan's hit-and-run case on Thursday appealed the actor and the court to consider their compensation pleas as they are finding it difficult to run their families.

They claimed that Salman's acquittal in 2002 hit-and-run case, which took place at Bandra in Mumbai, makes no difference for them.

Speaking to the CNN-IBN from Sultanpur, one of the victims, Mohammed Kaleem Pathan said, "For us compensation matters more than conviction. We have not got justice. For the last 13 years I have been struggling. I lost one leg and now I need compensation for the damage. I am hopeful that somebody will give justice to us."

"Whether Salman Khan was convicted or acquitted, it does not matter to us. We want compensation and I still stick to my claim that it was Salman who was driving the vehicle on that ill fated night. I saw him getting down from steering seats. It was Salman who was driving," Pathan said.

Meanwhile, family members of Nurullah Mahboob Sheikh, who was crushed under speeding SUV allegedly drove by the actor, too demanded compensation from the actor through CNN-IBN. "All that I want now is some help from Salman," Nurullah's wife said.

"Salman should help us for a stable life," Nurullah's son Feroz said.
