In our society boys are always taken superior from the girls that's y boys have to support their parents.
just suppose if a girl is handling her father and mother in law and at the same time she is also supporting her mother and father how could it be possible for a single lady to support her own family plus her in laws and mom dad? but for a boy it is easy to support his family and mom dad yeah i agree it is difficult. and by the way if boys r supporting thier parents then they r not doing anything bad. they should feel pleasure for doing all that for their parents.

Well said, they SHOULD, luckily quite a few still do, but that far from is the general trend unfortunately.
On the other hand, I do not agree with your first part. Isn't the husband supporting his parents? So why can't the girl support hers as well? We are surely so not into money issues here are we? I can't see why it's such a compulsory tradition that the boy has to support the parents. The girl is equally as easily capable of doing so!
yeah Deb, in other countries most of the girls r taking care of their parents...
EAST OR WEST DAUGHTERS R THE BEST 😉
but here most of the ladies r dependent on their hubby ... yeah, its our (girl's) responsibility to support our parents as much as v can.. some parents don't like to take any type of help from their daughters..Originally posted by: sneha0601

sneha, actually the problem is that parents don't like to take any help from their daughters, daughters are always present there whenever their parents need them.. but parents, beti kay sasuraal walay kya sochain gay etc etc...as summer bhaiyya said, I also don't like the way peoples differentiates between sons and daughters... we as daughters can also support our parents ... why everyone takes daughter 1%less then sons..???
Now guys, what do you think? Why should parents of boys always expect their sons to support them? Why can't they treat their sons just as they would treat their daughters? Why do parents differentiate between sons and daughters? They are treating daughters as sons, educating them, allowing them to do whatever they wish etc, but they are not doing the reverse.Pls post your views.
