God has no gender, because God has no form. It is only the people who refer to God as he or she. Since society was male-dominated (not only in India but most other countries) for so long, referring to God as a 'he' stuck, so many people still refer to God as a 'he' not because they are sexist (though some may be), but because it's become a habit.
The only time God can have gender is when God incarnates on Earth, but as Hinduism is the only religion to believe in incarnation, this does not apply to other religions. Even in Hinduism, the ultimate belief is that God has no form, but God comes in various forms to instill belief in people. For a dog, God will appear as a dog. For a cow, God will appear as a cow. Likewise, for humans, God will appear as a human, because it is hard for any living being, whether it be human or animal, to invision God in any other form except their own.

I'm just a nerd. I view the world with the faith of a Jedi and the rationale of a Vulcan.

There are both Gods and Goddes and its not like we worship only God , we worship Goddesses too. And which going into a temple I don't mind whether its a God or Goddess temple, I just go in and pray !! 😃

No there is no such thing😆
Mary is referred to as Mother Mary so she is referred to as "She"
Him would be a grammatical error😆
