Charm is one thing, but excessive flirting equates to desperation and the I'm-not-interested-so-get-out-of-my-face expression on my face. Having said that, I think there is a very wrong misconception out there that girls like 'bad' boys. So I think that's the reason for the whole 'cool' guy falls for simple girl who transforms his life and makes him into a better person. Blah, blah, blah.

Then why do you like Chuck? He can make em good girls go bad. 😆

I'm ONE girl, my likes and dislikes do not hold true for ALL girls. 😆 Plus, Chuck is a fictional character, he is perfectly evil and he knows it, he takes pride in that. If Chuck was a real-life guy, he'd pretend to be something he's not, goody-two-shoes by day and bad-boy-by-night. And I don't appreciate that kinda hypocrisy. 😆

Is it actually considered cool for a guy to flirt or is it perceived to be cool. A slight bit of flirtation is natural, and I think both men and women flirt and are portrayed in moderately flirty way. I never thought that a womanizing character was ever meant to be cool. He may appear trendy, he may be appealing to girls, girls may fall for him. However, none of that compensates or justify the fact that he does not genuinely respect women. I think when people overdo flirting most people see them as jerks.

That being said society is somewhat male dominated and men tend to get away with more. Hopefully, someday the genders will be more equitable.

But why am I bothering. Women are a gone case. As long as they drool over sparkly vampires there is no saving them. Heck cops are more terrified of twelve year old girls at a Jonas concert than dealing with armed robbery.

I disagree. Yes some do play goody two shoes. But honestly, I don't think men actually pretend to be goody two shoes. Men are very comfortable admitting that they are shallow and evil. The man whores have no qualms admitting that yes we are man whores. I think women delude themselves into believing that they are special and start creating fantasies of him being a goody two shoes, and it all leads to too much drama.

Yes, sometimes even the bad boys genuinely fall for someone and change. But a lot of time women either delude themselves or force a change. That makes men seem hypocritical when they are not.

You know what bothers me most, that poor grammar and improper language and incoherence have become cool.

Boys are inherently bad when it comes to girls no matter what they say and what they pretend to be and whether they flirt or not so I like the ones who come across as boys instead of hiding behind their shells.

U Mean twilight right!~ lol talk to me about it!
ive read twilight, and it is one of the most STUPID AND UNREALISTIC romances ive come across till date..............the "love" seems more physical infatuation ?(bella likes edward only coz of his looks and sparkles), and edward loves her only coz she is "different".......( read lousy, clingy, helpless)
lol.........the way the author cannot go on for TWO pages without describing edward's physique, it seems her only aim was to create a bunch of crazed hormonal fangirls lol😉🤢
