@bolly no. I have not read Palace of illusions. If possible read transalated version of MTs randamoozham. Also Ramayana from Rajagopalachari.
Chanakya Chant is also a very interesting read. From western fiction I am a big fan of Shakespheare espcially " As you Like it" and " Tempest". Then Charles Dickens Tale of 2 cities. Jane Austen Pride and Prejudice to name a few.
In the current scenario I read Arthur Hailey, Jeffrey Archer, Ken Follet. Bourne Identity and Kane and Abel are among my favourite books

That scene where she asks Suha about the well being of her baby was too good. For the child she will stay strong as Suha asked her to. As with her another life is linked.. The last nishaani of Abhay Sinha which she has to bring to this world.

I'm expecting some character growth in her now, for the sake of the baby. abhay is no longer there, she will have to grow up. This baby...this baby will be her saviour just like abhay was.

Doesnt Adarsh know the gift was from Asad's friends? Would Mamu himself bring the bomb to the wedding uf he were the terrorist provided his family too was present there?

true why would he kill himself and his wife. And the thing is Adarsh is the one who knows the gift was given by Arvind. As far i remember Swa told him Arvind left the gift, she did not tell Arvind left the gift with mamu. Also if Mamu was the terrorist why would he give the gift to Swa earlier, he would have directly got it to the wedding. What is making adarsh forget important facts. He is too like the general public believing only what the police are saying. And i do not think adarsh is not in a position to think. If he can so link Asad and Mamu telling not to cancel the wedding as a link to them being the terrorist., then why cant he link that the gift was given by Arvind. Right now he is only behaving like a revengeful brother. He will believe anyone to be Abhay's killer because right now what he wants is to kill the person who killed his brother

Anyone noticed Jay trying to rub off Abhay's blood from his clothes and telling to Jaya, the blood is not going. It is actually how murderers do when they have killed someone, trying to shake off the guilt.
Do you think Jay somewhere in his subconscious mind thinks he is responsible for Abhay's death, as he was party to Manohar in getting Alan broad released. Or is it that he will be for life tainted with his brothers blood for being responsible fr killing him.

Jaya will support Swa from the beginning. Not just because she understand's Swa's need to get answers, but in a way, she is the only one who can think rationally in this situation. Everyone else is broken and not in a position to think straight. I don't mean to diminish Jaya's fondness for Abhay or her own personal loss in this situation. But her loss is not as big as that of Jai's or Adarsh's or even Swa's for that matter, forget the parents or Simmi. Jaya will recover the quickest too from this shock.

Swadheenta has always been a girl caught between the needs of the society and what she actually wants to do. Just like Freedom. Freedom does not like restraints, but it is seldom without it. Freedom unfortunately always comes with bounds with is ironical. For example: Swadheenta may have always wanted to be with Adarsh, but she had to hold herself back because of the promise she had made to her father. It is her upbringing to stay within the realms of the society and its needs.

It is situations of this enormous magnitude that force people to bring out their true potential, and exhibit characters which they otherwise wouldn't have. The conundrum that this girl is faced with it unimaginable. She is bound by shackles, and does not have the courage to break it yet. She needs someone to give her the keys to free herself. She will not do it on her own. And those keys will be provided to her by Jaya.

I still maintain that Adarsh and Jai will soon follow. But the initial push will be given by Jaya. I don't know. After yesterday's episode I am kind of inclining to believe my prediction from a few days ago. I am not certain that Suhasini and Swadheenta will fight against each other. They understand each other too well now. At-least Swadheenta know Suhasini too well to want to hurt her in any way. I think they will be two people performing their jobs in the courtroom, while respecting each other in the court and outside. They will be in situations where they are compelled to take stands on either side of the table, but they will understand each other's needs to do it. It will be the both of them who will hold the Sinha's together. When Adarsh will get upset with Swadheenta, Suha will support her. When he gets upset with Manohar, Swa will support Suha and Manohar. I am inclined to believe that they wont necessarily fight each other. I don't know. I guess we will see.

Great analysis Shruti. .
I was quite proud of the way Adarsh was so rational about the reporter's horrid sensationalism of a family tragedy. He knew where Swadeentha's heart and sense lies, and didn't do melodrama about it. And proceeding to explain to his parents quickly.

Suhasini has been in such an impossible position, yet so understanding. My respect for her has doubled. But somewhere inside she must know she and Manohar have courted trouble by helping Allan Broad. Imagine when Adarsh finds out. 😲

I found Swadeentha lingering in the background very poignant. She feels guilty somehow.
Did she miss this? She didn't have the answers so she fears her presence might aggravate angry feelings. But the Sinhas have been so non judgemental and it's very heartening to watch.

Other SaaS Bahu dramas would've shown high drama and cursed her and threw her out and such. So glad not to see that here.

Swadeentha will remember receiving the gift in her room and even showing it to Adarsh via Skype. She'll remember it being from Arvind and start checking their apartment.

I love Jaya. Strong and patient, the shock in her face was telling. I'm sure she'll help Swa through this.

It's really hard to watch episodes but I can't bear to miss a single episode.

Ya you should try palace of illusions. Its fiction mixed with real story but it presents a very diff point of view.
Amazing suggestions. I will def try out your recommendations. I have read Jane Austen myself and love her books. But rest I am yet to try.
