Pitch and Conditions: "Second game

of the day here at Old Trafford. Not a lot has changed weather-wise. It has actually got a little bit brighter. Coming from the west, there's a bit of blue sky, so hopefully that'll warm things up. If you look at the weather for today, 17 degrees and still that very strong breeze blowing across the ground. The pitch, obviously, it's the same one, so the dimensions are the same. It's fairly central, just one metre difference between off-side and leg-side, and that's 70 metres down the ground. So same pitch, similar weather, maybe a bit brighter. Yeah, I thought Scotland batted very, very well. 161, I think they may have left a few runs there in the shed, though. About 180, I think this pitch is. It's a very, very good pitch. Plenty of grass cover. What they did well, though, is the chasing ground generally. And they prevented Ireland from being able to chase down their total by just bringing their lengths back a little bit. Ireland bowled a lot fuller, around that four metre mark. Scotland bowled around the 4.8 metre mark, a little quicker with their spinners. Six spinners picked up the wickets today, and they got a turn 2.13 degrees, which ironically is pretty close to the temperature here today as well. We've got that big strong breeze that you were talking about going this direction, which played a little bit of havoc with a few of the pace bowlers, but the variation of the pace bowlers, fair bit of spin. I heard Australia's got four spinners in the team, so it might be interesting. They sure have. So it's a really good pitch here at Old Trafford, and we have got two great sides. One has dominated world cricket for a long time. The other are hoping to do the same," inform Nasser Hussainand Julia Price.
