Players are walking out for the anthems. First to play is the Oman national anthem and it'll be followed by India's. The Men in Blue are playing their 250th T20I today, only the second team to do so after Pakistan (275).

Jatinder with some last-minute instructions in the Oman team huddle before they emerge. Abhishek and Gill will open the batting, so no surprises on that count. Shakeel to take the new ball. Abhishek to face him first up. Around the wicket, let's play!cx

Shakeel to Abhishek, no run

massive lbw shout, not given! Speared in very full, in and around leg stump. Abhishek has a swing across the line and gets pinged on the pads. This looked very close, but the question is where the ball has pitched. Oman think it has pitched in line and go upstairs. Think this might be a burnt review, though. And that is exactly the case. The ball pitches just outside leg, and Abhishek survives!

They opened bowling with a spinner? Not allowing to take runs!!

At last Gill hit the ball and 4 runs.

Faisal to Gill, OUT

off stump out of the ground, and Faisal has stunned India early! This is a wonderful delivery, starting just outside off on a fullish length and then curving back in. Gill looks for the booming off-drive but leaves a huge gap between bat and pad. The ball rattles through and off stump is left in a mess, much to Gill's dismay and much to Faisal's delight. Dream start for Oman!
