Pitch and conditions | Waqar Younis and Ravi Shastri: Good pitch. Played well yesterday and it's a similar pitch being used. Nice sprinkle of grass, but underneath it's dry. Not much spin but you can attack in powerplay. Abu Dhabi produces best limited-overs pitches (in UAE).

Aab: "Would India rest Bumrah today ?" -- It might make sense for them to, and give Arshdeep some game-time, just in case he is required later in the tournament.

India have barely broken a sweat so far. They’ve managed to slot in both Kuldeep Yadav and Varun Chakravarthy, with Kuldeep bagging Player of the Match awards in both outings, while the rest of the attack has kept things tight and made life easy for the batters in chases. The only question is whether they’ll rotate the XI today. Oman, meanwhile, were blown away by Pakistan but showed more fight against UAE - their bowling holding sides to 160 and 172, but the batting yet to click with no one crossing 30. Against India, this will be their stiffest examination yet.

No real surprise at the toss, except the fact that India won it. They now have a 2/3 record in tosses at this Asia Cup, having gone a VERY LONG spell in international cricket without winning one. Batting first gives their batters some time out in the middle, and they will want to make the most of it. Bumrah and Varun being rested is also not a huge surprise, with Arshdeep and Harshit Rana in the mix. Oman have made a couple of changes too, but it will be their bowlers who will be up against it first, trying to contain Abhishek & Co.
