Shaheen Afridi has given himself and the rest of the bowlers something to work with. An 18-run final over has taken Pakistan up to 146/9 - it's not much but from the position they were in, it's at least a fighting total. The UAE bowlers were superb today, right from Junaid Siddique who picked up his second straight four-fer to Simranjeet Singh who bowled brilliantly through the middle to pick up three. Pakistan lost a couple of wickets early in the powerplay and they struggled for momentum ever since. Fakhar Zaman's 36-ball 50 kept them afloat before Shaheen's 14-ball 29 renewed just a bit of hope in what was otherwise a very dismal batting performance. Remember, this is a do-or-die fixture for both and the UAE's primary goal will be not to crumble under the pressure. If they bat sensibly, they should chase this down quite comfortably.
