H

Jamieson to Miller, 2 runs, Miller brings up his century off the last ball of the game! The South African dressing room is up on its feet to acknowledge the stellar knock from Miller! A full ball wide outside off, Miller reaches out and hits it towards long-off and rushes back for the second run. He raises his bat and soaks in all the applause. A fine century in a losing cause but NZ have stolen the limelight with a largely convincing all-round performance

Congrats to Miller 🎉

A clinical show from New Zealand today as they march into the finals of CT, 2025 with their confidence sky high. A team that is known to operate under the radar has once again thrived in a knockout encounter. South Africa, on the other hand, have lost yet another semi-final in an ICC event. South Africa's association with knockout games in ICC events have given them a lot of bitter memories and today has been no different. The Kiwis won an important toss on a flat surface and their batters responded impressively to the decision. Centuries from Rachin and Williamson gave NZ a momentum boost and that is what is needed in crunch games. The South African bowlers had an off day and the oppositon capitalized. Cameos from Mitchell and Phillips at the death were icing on the cake for NZ. 362 was always going to a steep ask for the Proteas.

Rachin Ravindra, POTM: Great feeling to contribute to an emphatic win in a semi-final. I didn't start as well as I wanted, SA bowled well, but once we got going it was nice build partnerships with Kane and Young. It was nice to go with the ebbs and flows of one-day cricket. We were thinking around 300 as cutters were holding, and SA were getting bounce, but then the game started accelerating nicely, and Glenn and Mitchell finished great. Thing with tournament cricket is what's next and then what. Important to soak in the win today, celebrate the team together and get around each other. Once we get to Dubai we'll switch back on.
