Why did Afghanistan decide to bat first when Australia easily chased down 350+ runs the other day?

Now they are 40 for 3 in 11 overs.

Time for Drinks! The first hour or so of the game has been completely bossed by England. The decision to bat first has backfired on Afghanistan so far. Both Archer and Wood bent their backs and constantly troubled the batters with their extra pace and bounce. Archer reaped the rewards as he got the three wickets

Bcoz they don't like to chase big scores hence batting first

But yes, timid batting and very good opening spells of both Archer and Wood

Jamie Overton to Ibrahim Zadran, FOUR, straight down the ground for a four. Hit on the rise and down the ground. Fuller ball, Ibrahim Zadran got under the ball and lofted it over the bowler's head

Afghanistan managed to turn the tables around. It will be an interesting contest if England gets couple of quick wickets soon.

Cheers..
