Separate ATs - Question Please Vote (See pg. 19 6th Post) - Page 5

You can open whatever thread you want. The big question is how active will the thread remain.

I don't want to feel guilty for discussing Aditya sir.On his AT I feel free to do so.IYes I get bored at times,but better than fights and accusations.

Very true. Same here. I get damn bored with hardly anyone visiting duo thread and no one discussing anything.

You can't satisfy everyone. There'll be some unsatisfied souls all the time. But you can best try and make sure the unsatisfied ones are not trouble makers.

When majority want only Aditya-Dayanand thread, not separate Duo ATs then it should be so. Regarding activity, when there was no separate ATs discussions at AD thread were at peak and not confined to only in admiring pics. If Purvi fans are ok with separate AT why should she be included in combo thread for all casts?
If we want to discuss best scenes/golden era episodes we can have a thread like Golden Memories. Why make AT of all casts together?

Hi everyone. Sorry for keeping you waiting.

Look, firstly my view is that having a combined duo/trio/famous five thread is very different from having a combined thread for the rest of the cast. There have already been enough clashes regarding Purvi both from fans of the veterans and other characters alike. It's theoretically easy to agree to mutually co-operating and all, but practically the track record has not been good at all. I truly do not want all that to happen again, which I have no doubt it will seeing the past.

Besides, just because we want a thread where we can discuss our favourite actor in peace with other fans and archiving all details about them, doesn't mean we do not want to mingle with other fans or don't like other characters. I at least have certainly posted on EDTs and new discussion threads whenever I have had anything good to contribute. But the joy of discussing one's favourite separately is certainly different from discussing in a joint thread, though both have their merits.

Thirdly, whether the duo should have combined or separate ATs, or both, is up to their fans to decide. I'm fine with anything in that regard. But saying another's AT should be closed because of that is like saying normal citizens' homes should also be taken down if something happens to the White House. Purvi's discussion corner has been around even before their individual ATs, and that of other characters too. I feel all have the right to discuss their favourite in peace in a separate thread, if they so wish (all characters, I mean).

Now this doesn't mean I am against the idea of a combined thread for all past and present cast. I certainly like that idea and am willing to contribute, but only if her separate AT remains open as well.

Shreya di, give me a name who is particularly Nikhil or Sachin sir fan. I'm a Sachin sir fan but its not that I am always posting or discussing about him. That's why some wanted an AT for other casts together. Now the fan groups are divided into Duo, Abhi, Daya, Purvi and Shreya fans practically. Where are a good numbers of fans for other casts?

And you know what Shreya...there'll be some silent members who are Unfortunately not online now. They'll suddenly come after a month and see that their favourite thread is closed. They'll then find a DeDe or an Asto's shoulder to cry on and some day when some other discussion is on, they'll talk about how Shreya behaved like a dictator.
