I missed today's re-runs but I remember this scene well. Its from The Goodbye Kiss. In this a lady had killed an Actor but poisoning his drink and just as he was dying, she kisses him on his forehead. Now this lipstick mark is the only clue for the CID team to get to the killer. They take lipstick marks of all the ladies in the building to match with the print on the Actor's forehead.

The mentioned scene comes when the CID team is taking the prints; they have to ask the ladies to kiss on a tile. Everyone has very embarrassed expression on their faces. Unfortunately for Abhi Sir two dumb ladies try to pull his leg and add to his embarrassment.

Well if a waiter, a cleaner can have duplex bungalows, CID members can surely afford better. Those were the real times, art directors worked on being authentic those days. Recently they tried to pass off the CID Bureau as someone's office; we have been seeing this office since 2005 for God's sake. Between 2008 and 2010 I have seen at least 5-6 different houses of Abhi Sir. They changed it twice during the Shruti story, could not be consistent for 4 continuous episodes. Abhi Sir's house in "Sr Inspector Abhijit" case was shown as the killer guard's house in "Rahasya Shootout Ka". It's all about taking the easy route or having no eye for detail or just ignorance.
