Lets be honest RC, Most (a friend argues All of them are) of these shows are average, below average or mediocre., even the ones leading the ratings. It's really about what crap you chose and decide to waste time over. I know your post deals with fandome but I just had to share. Just ignore, I'm stuck on this work problem that refuses to solve itself., so just needed some distraction.😆

My debate was not about FK's replacement but rather all the obsessive defending that takes place on IF. IMO rather pointless.

I stopped watching the show in the beginning becoz i couldn't handle Farhan's acting but then i realised that FK is not the only reason for it being a flop show for me , it's many things collectively which are horribly wrong . As far as sanaya and FK are concerned , we all know that sanaya and FK were not on great terms on personal front but that shouldn't affect professional front but we would never know what really happened behind closed doors . Public Celebs say different things onscreen when everyone is watching then but say and do something else behind closed doors.

I have constantly seen posts bashing and name calling FK on this forum and the comments on TB article and FB prove how fans treat him and got overboard once again. I agree that may be he should have been quiet but just don't understand why only sanaya, he could have blamed anybody else as well.

As far as fitting in Anuj is concerned it's only 3 days , it was the same reaction when FK started so i will just wait and watch.

And for the actor who can't be named is concerned , all i would say is that he was bashed/hated for keeping quiet and not speaking the truth while FK is mercilessly bashed for opening his mouth 😕

A new actor, making negative remarks about an accomplished actor, attacking on her personal life, judging her behavior on imaginary basis-- don't you think these reasons are enough for reasonable people to react? You don't need to be sanaya fan to decide whether Farhan's interview was decent or not.

And for fans...supporting her and expressing annoyance to someone who is maligning her -- isn't it at right thing to do at this moment?

They are ready to defend their favorite even when the actor in question is perfectly capable of taking care of his/her life. They have to defend the actor/her actions and justify why she may have done something like that. I doubt the the high TRP shows like DABH/BV has this much fan following but in the end these shows are the ones who are raking in the TRPs because the story is crisp and the direction is better. CC not raking in TRPs is due to lot of reasons and having popped in the forum more than few times in a week, I have seen both sides of the coin - one set of fans saying Sanaya can act with any one and make chemistry and another set who genuinely called out the defects on the storyline/direction and the concept of the show. So Fandom now going overboard is little too much and I for one hope everyone stops taking pot shots against one another and bringing them down - Fandom pulling FK down/FK pulling Sanaya down/FK dragging everyone in the mix/Fandom justifying who is right and who is wrong. It is just adding to the offscreen mess and putting the actors in bad light. My honest 2 cents.

Regarding the line you said about the overrated actor in Sanaya's previous show - I will give an example. I was in college when I saw Colin Firth's Pride and Prejudice on BBC network and till now Colin Firth is Mr.Darcy for me. Even Colin Firth acknowledged that he is an average actor but he lived the role of Mr.Darcy to the T and he will be remembered as Mr.Darcy till he is alive. But that doesn't stop him in trying out new roles and he is pushing himself. Well I don't know for sure if the actor in Sanaya's previous show will reach the heights in BW but I for one sure hope he does achieve success in his efforts as for 1.5yrs he lived the role to perfection and I do hope he can replicate the success in his films too.
