Maybe true, he might be annoying all the team members to the extent he became the object of all their conversation jokes. That happens when you are with few people and one does something that annoys all of you , the rest of them always keep talking about that person. But the way Umapthy jokes is were I have problem with, it not a mere teasing or making fun it is way too rude and mocking.
Same with Parvati, she annoyed most of them and hence she was the one everyone talked about all the time but unlike Kadargal team, Vederkal didn't go to that extent with Parvati and didn't mock her either. Atleast not all of them together but that seems to be the past time for Kadargal .
Kadargal team are extremely predictable with their eliminations. They only think of eliminating the person they dislike the most. First it was Gayathri, next is for sure Ram, followed by Lady Kash. For Kash they will probably say some stupid excuse like she is unwell so couldn’t perform well in the task blah blah.
On the other hand Vedargal consider who has performed in what way in the tasks for the week, and if they capable of moving forward and staying in the game. They may look shrewd for already thinking about alliances, but that is how this game works and at least they acknowledge and consider all members in the team for such talks.
In Kadargal it’s obvious Vikranth, Viji, and Umapathy know each other from off screen, and Saran aligned with them as well because they are from the movie industry. No matter how the rest perform, all the voting will be decided by these 4 and no decision will be made based on the Survivor format of fighting to survive. I agree Ram has some annoying tendencies. His line about “you all come from a background” can be very triggering for the receiving person no matter in what intention it was said. But instead of handling it maturely and saying “I don’t like it when you say that, it registers in a wrong way to the audience”, they all pounce on him and either say “I will never speak to you” or “you are acting for sympathy”. In the few instances they are not shouting at him, they are mostly making fun of him and laughing at his plight. In the general audience’s mind Ram is now gaining sympathy and the rest are looking like bullies.
Viji has a very bossy nature and it comes across clearly on this show. On Bigg Boss she escaped because she aligned with Rythwika and Janani who were generally well-liked by the audience and were soft-spoken. Illaati angayum dabba dance aadi irukkum. She might make it through Survivor but when the show is over she will find herself having to explain to the audience why she was behaving this way here. In fact I feel many of them will be annoyed why the show kept certain clips of them on the telecast and made them look like bullies. That’s the trap laid by reality shows and they need to be careful if they are so conscious about image (like Vikranth keeps mentioning).
