Yes Padma, the spirit of joy, positivity, sharing and caring prevails big time during Diwali which is a huge festival. This year our city displayed exemplary discipline and there were only stray incidents of firecrackers at the permitted time of 8 pm to 10 pm.

Today is Bhai Dhooj or putting tikka or tilak ( vermillion mark) on the brother's forehead during the ascribed auspicious time for his longevity and he in return expresses his gratitude by giving a gift to the sister. This is also a family reunion time, time for feasting and gaiety.

Hope our dear Nado is feeling better and the medications are showing its effect.
