If dosa breaks in the thava then take an onion and cut in the middle into two and use one of the half to swipe the thava thoroughly with the cut side facing the hot pan. Then you pour the batter again... Dasa will come out without any tearing...Is the batter too thin? Or the Dosa too thin?
