well I suppose every one acting in tellywood and bollywood wants a little bit of fame and recognition,if they did not want it at all then they would be doing theatre..no?But it does not mean the actors of tv(and bw) don't want any creative satisfaction...and sometimes fortunately you also reach such a stage where you can afford to worry only about that(like sanaya..though even earlier she did shows and roles she wanted to,money never seemed to be an issue).You think these actors acting in shows like sns or yrkkh care about creative satisafction or actually acting(not that they seem capable of it in the first place)..they are just faces of popular soaps airing on number 1 GEC and are getting paid huge so they continue "acting" in shows that are the STUPIDEST.Indian tv really does suck for the most part,I mean just think about it we live in a nation where sns and dabh are top rated shows...and it is worse for male actors as most tv shows are still women dominated.Even if the industry tries something new sooner or later changes have to be made to get trps.Laut aayi trisha was supposed to be the boldest show on television,they showed incest and homosexual relationships and when the ratings were not good the gay track just vanished and some lame ass logic was given for the incest one(to appeal to the trp junta) after which it too wasn't continued.
Bollywood's condition is much better..even with the presence of directors like sajid khan and prabhu deva🤢...and barun never seemed a big fan of mills and boons kind of stuff like ipk,may be he hopes he will get more satisfaction in bw.
Though yes all of this is still not a reason to disrespect television industry,I can't read the interview..the font is too small.
