Rabba vey all ok the following is the msg I sent to Soul but then thought to posting here to if anyone could help me...yara I need a little help I downloaded two image editors n I dont know which one od them had changed our search engines from google to something else it has effected the total performance of laptop and no matter how much we try its not coming back to google search again can u suggest any way to remove it... I remember tht I unchecked at the suggestion of making some search engine default while downloading one n for second I dont remember there was any such suggestion still it happened n now I seriously in danger of getting a tight class full of bisti first from the sis whose laptop it was n then from the eldest one coz she always told me not to use her laptop n I dont know I m in a serious mess plsss if u know anything do let me know...

@Fari- usually u will see 'X' sign on those additional toolbars...if you close them...they they are removed frm view... i guess so bt there will be some messages coming on your status bar..fr toolbars..too...

Its not tool baar yaar the search engine... Its set as our dafult page plus as search engine on mozilla n chrome isnt working AT ALL... U HAVE NO IDEA WHERE i have gotten myself... I m in so much tension if any of ur frnds could help plzzz ask them and tell me... There has to b some ways

We use two browsers chrome n mozila i mostly use mozilla my sister mostly use chrome she has re-installed the chrome but the default page is same n most importantly I couldnt use net on laptop after installing n now when she used shes saying the performance has also been affected n I have never downloaded n installed anything before but i dont know wht comes to me and i made this drastic decision to do so

Oh relax first... try uninstalling the software then..may be that can help..let me search if i cn get ny help from google here...i m nt much aware of mozilla...i mostly use IE..

is there some option like "Manage Search Engines".

@soul- just read ur comment..song u chose is so apt dear...specially these lines... they sum it all so well...haan tera saaya toh main hoon
par sang tere naa reh sakun
haan iss safar mein toh main hoon
par sang tere naa ruk sakun
it reminds of walk of arnav-khushi out of temple ..

Fari, for google crome..

on extreme right you can see 'Three horizontal lines' (after star) click on that - go in settings- there you can find setting for search engine and default browser... and other options too...!

Try this out.. I think it should fix the problem!
