According to Hindi serials, every emperor has been a Romeo, Devdas, and Joru ka Ghulam at least once in his life. 😆

Pehle Akbar ki baisti hui, then Bindu, phir Ashok, and now Chandu dadaji. 😆

This trend needs to stop.🤢

I think romance is ok. In fact I love intense love story. But can they just stop making the great emperors dumb and good for nothing ? They can very much love their queens or one particular queen but why should love be a reason for all the achievements ? In fact love is a distraction. Ok they can show that the queens make them humans from monsters but that's it.

I agree, I didn't mean to make it sound like I didn't like romance in historical shows in my previous post. I like intense love stories too. I think romance fine, but not when the emperor forgets he has a brain and starts going on his preyasi jaap.

Regarding Chandra Nandini,I know that it was clear from Day 1 that's it's a love story and not a historical.And it's not about showing history.It's about how you treat the characters in the show.And I believe in a love story both the man and the woman should have equal importance.But knowing Ekta,it's all gonna be about Nandini in sometime and Chandra will be sidelined.

You guys are right.This is what irritates me the most.Why should love be the motivating factor for all the historical icons?? Is it necessary that whatever they did had to be done for love?? Romance is a necessary element in every story but it does not have to be the basis of a story.Otherwise what is the difference between a historical and a love story??

In JA,it was Jodha who made Akbar the Emperor he was.In MP,Haldighati battle happened because MP's wife Ajabde was killed.And in CAS,we know what happened.Now CN will do the same thing.Nandini will get all the credit.

Weren't all these historical icons capable of doing things on their own?? Their spouses were a part of their life.But their life did not revolve around their spouses.

I remember two historicals which I love.One is Prithviraj Chauhan and the other one is the first CGM.I don't intend to compare.But these shows were better in their presentation of romance.PRC in its early stage mainly focussed on the Prithvi-Sanyo romance but but Sanyogita did not have to do everything for Prithvi.And in CGM they did introduce a romantic angle but it did not hamper the main storyline.

I know you didn't mean that. We all were so against love story because of Ashwaki's amar prem. But somehow we all like romance in limits.
