Before the leap when KWK entered, the show was still ok. Why ? Because Ashwaki was part of the show but it wasn't only about them. Even now romance could be accepted only if it was here and there. In 20 min of the episode, 18 min is eaten by Ashwaki and Ashwaki shippers.

Even Ashvi won't be accepted if they show them in the entire episode everyday. We are not here for the romance.

Bt nw they r only focusing on romance ... Everything happen on dis shw ended up wid their romance nd all characters who eariler were focused on politics are nw talking abt ashwaki..

We r nt against of romance ...this shw is abt samrat ashoka he might nt be devdas bt loved his wife nd if they shw sm romantic scene of him wid his wife ...it wuld be ok bt there main focus shuld be on his mission, politics,, ...

I completely agree with u.The trps did affect due to the leap.People had gor used to watching Sid and they found it hard to accept anyone else as Ashok.In fact I myself have read few members comments on the EDT that they are not happy with the leap.Some even commented that they will stop watching the show after the leap.The trps got down a little because of that but the other regular viewers still watched the show.

But they too lost interest in it because of kaurvaki's pathetic acting,ashok turning into Devdas and too much focus on their love story.

The show has definitely lost most of it's regular viewers. Let's hope after the marriage, the cvs will try to get back the old viewers. It seems to me like the only people who are watching this show are few(not all) mohit and somya fans.

CAS actually have a quite different kind of viewers who prefer watching actual history and political drama than teenage romance.. when we are watching a story based on a person like great king Ashoka we expect some political drama and true account of histiry... but show nee too history kaa kachra kar diya... i badly wish that the show should be aired on epic channel... at least then we would get soem actual history... i won't even mind if the show was finite focusing only on ashoka's life...

I know for a fact that if the TRP drops down to 1.5 or lower, the channel will send a notice to the production house asking them to shut down the show. God forbid if that happens then I will lose my trust on historical shows. The stupid makers have already ruined this show by showing false history such as Chanakya being murdered by a 9-year old kid. Now things are getting worse because of the bullshit romance!

This show is called "CHAKRAVARTIN ASHOKA SAMRAT" so they are supposed to show Ashoka's struggles in life, his ascension to the throne and most importantly how he created and established a nation which would later become the world's largest democracy! But the moronic makers are focusing on something that is not even related to the actual story. I've seen it in several shows and not just historic shows that whenever the shows are doing well, a group of stupid and illiterate viewers keep asking for more and more romance and then eventually the TRP's start to fall resulting in abrupt endings.

CV's it's high time! You guys better start focusing on the actual plot. WE ARE NOT INTERESTED IN ROMANCE EVEN BY THE SLIGHTEST BIT!
