The new star of our EDT - Shyamala Ji 👏👏👏

Very happy though that the EDT is rocking this hard, though without your updates man it still feels like a huge piece of the EDT is gone. I know you're studying, so it's manageable; but I can't wait to read your WU again.

Same here. Your WU makes the parody that CAS is now all the more entertaining. 😆

Fourth Time re-writing ... God, IF can be stupid at times (not as stupid as me for continuing to write in the quick reply box and not opening Google Docs or something to make sure it doesn't get erased)
In regards to the Voice Dictation discussion, my heart goes to Nuance's Dragon software, but that's paid. Of course, there are ways around it (ehem Pirating ehem), but in case you don't want to do that, I would suggest SpeechNotes. https://goo.gl/f7yNh1

Make sure you select English - India as your language so you can mention some names of CAS characters.

A sample is here -

I did use Nuance's Dragon software while in college to dictate some essays, so I fired that up and did a sample run with it. The results are here -

I swear to god KVK has started to look good. But Cupidevi has started to irritate me real BAD. 😡
Whats the freakin need for that? Are the Cvs going the route of Devi falling for ashok while being the cupid? 🥱

And now they tease audience with scenes like today . Devi hugging ashok with full force and dramatic music in BG. 😆 And KVK is like WTH is happening?😕

And the classic dialogue "Wo tumhare pati hai mere nahi". 😆😛

Any way i am curious (excited will be bad because Dvs dont have the capability to show anything good) to see how Devi becomes the first wife. Any logical progression or just the typical rangeela bride swap? 🥱

The roles have been swapped. Devi historically was the senior queen. Here it's KVK. And a shoddy one.

For the life of me I still can't digest one thing. We all knew what went on in the Taxilla track. KVK was nothing but an obstruction. she even betrayed Ashok at one point.

And yet time and time again this nonsense is parroted that KVK has somehow helped Ashok win Taxilla and can help him in his quest for ABN.

How? This is a parody princess that doesn't understand zilch about politics or ruling. And her sidekick Cupid makes everything doubly irritating.

This is what happens when you give the script and direction to a bunch of obsessed ass hats.

A total nahi nahi episode for me..

anyways Aanandini is a fool.. while spiking the Ubtan she really thought that Kvk will apply the bowl straight away to her face?? ofcourse she will take some in her fingers and the secret would be out..

anyway.. that moment when Devi "accidently" hugged Ashok :)

CORBA key and Daily🤣 Thank you Shyam for making my day so much better.Of course Devi has turned out to be Kaurwaki's Daily (maid) fetching and carrying for her.She does not seem to have any tender feelings for Ashok -nevermind the hug.She has put it in plain words that she does not want to come between them and would have stayed away earlier if it had facilitated their engagement.Of course Kaurwaki is much too confident and says that nobody can come between her and Ashok since the latter is only HERS.Talk about tempting the fates.

That was a smart move of Charu's to let Anandani do the dirty work for her.Siamek's plan to smuggle the valuables out of Pataliputr in the princess's luggage is quite good.Of course Lassandra might get away with the treasure and leave the sheep (to borrow Shyamalaji's words) with nothing.Ashok would be blamed for the mishap but Siamek is dreaming if he thinks that no blame would fall on him. He's the Royal Treasurer after all.

This is a rather boneheaded plan on Ashok's part. The fact that they(Ashok and RG) are not considering the possibility of Lassandra betraying them all is rather short sighted and foolish.

I am going to ignore the rest of the show. Cut paste scenes from other SBS. CVs forgot that women were not that comfortable with their would be husbands, let alone their friends. Such trivial anachronistic nonsense.

Today's episode was a filler one.

I found Devi hugging ashok as cringeworthy as Kaurvaki hugging sushim. 🤢And the background music! 😆 C'mon cvs, when u r making a serial on Ashok then u have to show that he had many women in his life.Nothing wrong in showing that because that had really happened in his life. He was not like Lord Ram who promised to have only one woman in his entire life even though I feel very soon Kaurvaki is gonna make him take a vow that he cannot have any woman in his life except her. 😆 I find it really weird to hear these dialogues frequently from her mouth that ashok is only hers and no one can come between them.I mean in those days, kings used to marry for political reasons too so it's silly to think that ashok can never marry any woman after her.In those days, all that mattered to queens were their position and how much importance they have in their husband's lives.Rest they didn't care. Anyways, all the dialogues of Devi and Kaurvaki were pretty symbolic.Circumstances will definitely force Devi to come between Ashok and Kaurvaki and that will be a huge shock for all 3.

Siamak's plan was good.Btw,Ashok had asked RG to hire few people to keep an eye on the evil 4.Kahallatak ne itna kuch kar diya and ashok ko khabar tak nahi. 😕 Or he is pretending to be unaware to catch them later.

CVs,please add a better song for the lead pair. This song is terrible. 🤢

Charu insitigating Anandini to break Ashwaki marriage is a smart move but only used for dragging.

I found it so funny when the women were playing music when kaurvaki was going to take bath. 😆 🤣

It is trivial and anachronistic. And a waste to reduce women to these caricatures. They're capable of so much more than mooning over their lovers. But aristocratic women of that era weren't as modest as Kaurwaki either. From the childhood they are used to maids washing them and dressing them up in royal robes.

I'd love a long bloody battle or two -even a long siege with Ashok outside the walls and Siamek trapped inside like a cornered rat.But beggars can't be choosers.😒 We'll have to be satisfied with Friday's episode and the Mahaepisode.

Meanwhile I'll reread my copy of Rafael Sabatini's Bellearion-The Fortunate to satisfy my craving for successful siege warfare. That's about a (fictional) Italian monk who turns into a successful mercenary captain and later a Count all by the strength of his wits.He did not have a wise experienced older mentor giving him a political education either. His mentor/Lord expected results rather than doling out advice. It was said about Bellarion that "Bellarion never aims where he looks and never shoots where he aims."

If you are up for it there is a siege going on in the most recent chapter of my Ashoka OS. You could give it a read.
