This show has screwed history forever 👎🏼 I agree some amount of dramatization and fiction is needed but this show has crossed all limits 🤢

Already they twisted the history so much but now they totally turned the history.
They could have showed some other reason..
But showing this reason is not acceptable
1.No King of kalinga was ever a thief
2. Never did kalinga attacked on any state let it to take revenge also..
3. It was magadh who attacked kalinga because kalinga was more economically stable than magadh bcz it is situated near the sea and it helped kalinga to increase its economy through trade ways..
Which magadh also wanted...
4. Ashok attacked kalinga because of his desire to conquest,territory expansion and economic benefits.
5. we had no king ever in our history whose name was jagannath.
6. Jagannath is our mahaprabhu or lord's name who is the last form of lord Vishnu.
7. And showing a king whose name is on our beloved lord and showing him as evil is a insult for us.

Its a fact that there is not much information about Samrat Ashoka's childhood. So they showed fiction. Fine. But there is ample information about his adulthood.Starting from his marriage to Devi, Kaurwaki and so on. As far as I know , The name of king of Kalinga during Kalinga war was Raja Anantha Padmanabhan( I have read it, That's all) . The people of modern day Kalinga, Odisha can give more info on this.

Secondly they have introduced leap, as a member of audience I feel that they should stick to original story rather than showing Epic Non existent love story. And to make Ashoka great stop showing all others as negative including Kalinga. The way its going I am sure thecv's will definitely find some reason for the attack on Kalinga. where Kalinga will be at fault. Ashoka was merciless..Arrogant..Cruel...A true Chand. And much before his mother's death. He was Not a bahu.

His sole aim was expansion of empire. He had many wives. Though Queen's edict give some info about Rani Kaurwaki but that in no way supports that she was his One and Only true Love.
What Ashoka did on Kalinga was merciless killing of innocents for his ambitions. There should be a limit to fiction in historical shows as present generation takes it seriously. If they contradict then it means they are changing history which is not acceptable.

As an Indian I feel its unfair to show such stupid tracks which has no relation with reality/history. The cv's must take note of this because that's an insult not only to Kalinga(Odisha) but also to Ashoka and most importantly to this great nation and its rich history
