Ashok's dream here is basically the re-imagination of what went on the past weeks. And what will come in the next few weeks.

I am surprised you didn't pick up the shadowy villain I was hinting towards. It wasn't that subtle. Ashok pretty much sees him near the pond. 😉

Jaisal and his family will seem like a filler. But they were plot devices for Ahankara. I had to create this connection for future plot lines. I wrote Nalini to annoy people. She won't be central. But she will feature on a few occasions. 😆

Radhagupt was pretty much channeling Chanakya here. In more ways than one.

Chanakya did hint something about Helena's continued ambition. Radhagupt simply followed those hints and took a gamble here.

He was bluffing. Helena's reaction pretty much vindicates his bluff.

Khallatak is a smug bas***d. That is why he gets owned. He is too confident about his influence. He has no idea what RG is capable of.

And this is the central dyanmic here. RG struggles on the political sphere against the internal threats to win support for Ashok. Ashok defends his father and his Kingdom from the external threats.

Yeah you have taken a good time to catch a break. The next few chapters are big. Very big. 😆
