Elizabeth Taylor has given the thumbs up to This Is It.

Dame Elizabeth Taylor says people should watch 'This Is It' if they want to get to know the real Michael Jackson.

Elizabeth, who was best friends with the 'Bad' singer, loved the documentary - which was pieced together from footage of the 'King of Pop' rehearsing for his sold-out London residency ' and has urged everyone to watch it.

She said: 'Michael and I shared a pure and perfect love. Usually, I don't speak publically about the loss of a loved one.

'But I am encouraging everyone to please, please see his mastery in 'This Is It'. Michael's genius will never be equalled. Tragically, we shall never see the likes of him again.'

The 77-year-old actress also revealed she has Michael's music on her iPod, as well as British singing sensation Susan Boyle.

She added in an interview with the USA Today newspaper: 'We're just starting to load my iPod now. I ask my secretary to help me with those things. I have Andrea Bocelli, Enya, Susan Boyle and of course my loved one, Michael Jackson, on it.'

Despite constant rumours she is in ill health, Elizabeth insists she is still going strong.

Michael Jackson to receive Lifetime Achievement Award

Michael Jackson is to receive a posthumous, Lifetime Achievement Award at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards this coming January.

In other MJ news the documentary movie " This Is It" has made the list of the top ten BlockBuster 2009 Time Capsule movies. The documentary showing Jackson"s last movements before his death was released October 28th of this year.

An official book released by his estate entitled "The Michael Jackson Opus" was released November 26th.

Michael Jackson's sudden death this summer is still under investigation. His personal doctor Dr. Conrad Murray's actions have been under police scrutiny and more revelations are expected in the New Year.

That Murray investigation is taking so long as ever. I wonder why.. Yes, Michael might have been addicted to painkillers etc. But isn't it a doc's responsibility to take his patient out of it? BUt this doc pumped more drugs into MJ's body that too in lethal combinations. I wonder what's there to investigate.
