Two things I found quite remarkable in Deewana:

1) Way back in 1992, Raja’s character showed incredible emotional maturity by promising Kajal on their wedding night that he would absolutely respect her boundaries and consent. Unfortunately, I have no scene-video to back it, but in the YouTube movie, it is at about 1:52:

2) Some days ago, on Sunday, there was Fathers Day... but Raja had no reason to celebrate it... in the contrary...
