There are normal fanwars going on between team Toxic and team D. Fans of both sides accusing the other of PR. It is the other industries trying to cope.

After the OTT drop and with promos coming up,I expected some serious campaign on Twitter/Reddit against D.I don't see it.

We,fans of D have no idea how,in what privileged position we are in. I really wish Toxic team all the best. And yes,I do believe that If RS has any competetion today,It is Yash.

It is never about the numbers,or how good an actor is. It is about that swag, that style, that public wants to emulate. Every guy wanted Yash's swag. I have seen so many Ramayana polls of RK vs Yash . It is 80+ always for Yash. That teaser which got the best response ever, on Google trends was because Yash was in the film.Replace him with Ramcharan,or whoever, it wouldn't be the same. With Yash there is an expectation.

As for Ranveer, everyones favorite has been morphed into Hamza. It is hilarious and rather pathetic to see. stardom is about that X factor, the sex appeal, magnetism,It is about that Pathaan Suit every guy wants to wear(with lycra sleevessmiley10),It is the hair,it is the eyes,it is the walk,It is the sheer physical force. Everyone and his brother has understood what has happened here.

Great roles, great films, great performances happen. But it is always about the sex appeal, for actors and actresses. That's what makes superstars.SRK still has it .Salman, lost it. That is the only difference. Not the films.

That is sinister.

With that logic people can also say that Shazia's movie Dhadak 2 was sinister and meant to spew hate against general category people.

Personally, I don't find Dhurandhar "sinister", it's just a gritty spy movie with a certain purpose, set in a scenery where violence thrives, mixing pseudo and real historical events into the narrative.

Everyone will pick what suits him/her...and why not, it's nothing new ... every piece of art is subjected to an individual perspective.

Nevertheless, I agree with You2 in so far as the star cult is still quite alive in India... that's why pr and hyping/diminishing performances and/or a whole movie through social media belong to the promotional tactics. Yet that isn't something sinister to me, it has become a standard now. I don't give it much attention (mostly) as I simply find it dishonest and unfair (the over-hyping and the over-diminishing).

Certain tweeter I would'nt post here because they clearly have corrupted themselves... I wouldn't want to support those persons by giving their tweets a place here.
