Some interesting Trivia: Suriya is Madhavan's contemporary....Madhavan and Jyotika were considered as one of the top onscreen pairs in Tamil movie Industry....Plus Jyotika debuted into movies opposite Akshaye with Doli Sajake Rakhna!

I get it that SOME (few) have complimented Ranveer and /or Dhurandhar but is is very glaring that the biggest stars (bar Hrithik and Akshay) and Aloobiru have kept mum.# As far as I remember, Ranveer always salutes and celebrates the success of the other BW 'clique'. I am not even thinking just the Khans, but no Rajkumar Rao, Ajay Devgn, Alia, Ranbir, or Other 'stars' that have always been praised by Ranveer and Deepika when they had films out. No YRF comment. Dhurandhar IS the biggest BW movie at the moment and taking records everywhere. To me their silence speaks volume. Especially as we all know many of them prayed/hoped this movie would crash n burn when released. Don't you think it makes these BW 'stars' look petty and insecure? Even afraid?

Having said all that, my respect for RG Varma has grown immensely. He gets the movie and its intentions, gets the reasoning behind the necessary violence and is praising the movie, director and cast everywhere, in each interview (I've seen 5 videos of him praising Dhurandhar as a cornerstone of cinema). Big respect to Allu Arjun. Big thumbs up to Akshay Kumar, Hrithik, Anurag Kashyap, Vicky Kaushal, Ayushman Khuranna and those that DID send good wishes. This is what Confident Stars/Filmmakers do: support each other and recognise excellent art and craftmanship without bias.

Ranveer is Ranbir's rival so why would Ranbir praise his film? Did Ranveer praise Ranbir's performances? In fact, Ranbir needs to rein in his wife and tell her to stay in her limits and stop liking Dhurandhar content online. It is offensive to the Kapoor family for her to betray them like that and she is their representative as bahu. Neetu Singh needs to have a strong word with Alia and remind her that divorce exists if she betrays Kapoor name.

I get that all 'have a life outside social media ' but this is not ''just a movie''. Dhurandhar is brealking records, for weeks, now.

You cannot tell me they are not aware, after 5 weeks+, and cannot find in 5 weeks 30 seconds to post a 'congrats'.

I did not mean to demnean Alia and Ranbir, you cannot come claming you know what is in my head. i thought of them first because they were supposed 'friends' with Ranveer and Deepiks. So yeah, it IS glaring. That is why I mentioned them first. Nothing to do with stars -it's not like Alia or Ranbir won't be called stars because whatever you imagined / claimed my intention was.

Ajay had a movie with Ranveer, in Akshay's multistarrer, no? Singham or whatever it was called.. Simple. Ranveer always congratulates Ajay Devgn, so AD could have congratulated Ranveer in 30 sec post, in 5weeks + since release. I am repeating myself when I shouldn't need to..

I have no clue about what Akshaye Khanna does in his private life, nor do i think you do. Calling asomeone 'sicko' won't make them such. Maybe you should eb careful with spreading these rumours. Anyway, I was talking about Akshay KUMAR, congratulating Ranveer, not Akshaye. I haven't seen Alia post ANYTHING. And yes, ranveer DID congratulate Ranbir. I think you are wayy too combative and trying to be rude for no other reason that you dislike me pointing out the obvious: many of the stars Ranveer constantly congratulates when they have movies out have said Nothing when a movie as BIG as Dhurandhar is out, for 5 weeks plus. A tweet of 'Congrats, Ranveer' takes 30 seconds to write. That is my reasoning. In 5 weeks you CAN find 30 seconds. This is not a small movie. By now everyone knows about its success.

I never said they are 'entitled to' anything.# I just said (this is the last time I repeat my message so you hopefully understand): considering that Ranveer constantly congratulates and supports these stars of Bollywood when they have their movies out , IT IS GLARING, to me and others, that Amir, SRK, Salman, Alia, Rabir, Ajay, and other big stars have not 'found time' to at least reciprocate with a 30 seconds tweet when this movie has becoime such a HUGE success, taking over ALL THE OTHERS. Liking some content means they have the time (Alia, you say, though I haven't seemn that either), so why not send a message? I am not up to date to whatever marriage issue Alia has. But I am sure that is a tweet won't break a marriage, come on ! Why bring a child in this discussion or divorce, is divorce between Alia and Ranbir something it's discussed here? I was NOT aware of it, apologies if they are breaking up or whatever you imply. And if it is not the case, then I think you take it wayyy too far.. A simple tweet after WEEKS won't do anyone harm, nor 'major damage'. On the contrary, it would show they have gumption to stand by Ranveer or by Adytia Dhar and the movie he's made. I really DID expect the biggest stars of BW to be bold , be confident in their star power and say: congrats Ranveer, this is great ! It cost nothing to acknowledge a huge success. They won't be any 'lesser' by acknowledging the feats of Dhurandhar. No one 'betrays' anything by being supportive of a fellow actor. At least they could save face and say they DID acknowledge such a big success of the BW industry. Especially considering the movie is in just HINDI, so all accolades go to Bollywood, their OWN industry. And last bit: please don't twist words. I was talking about a tweet, not wishing breaking marriage upon Alia and Ranbir, or a child to be with divorced parents. YOU went there, not me. And all that, IN a BW forum. Where there's gossip etc. So maybe you should take your own advice and find something better to devote your life to? Such aggresivity towards me for imaginable reasons won't do you good in life. I had no hidden intentions and stated clearly why I found the 'silence of BW' odd. All the best to you.

I am glad YRF acknowledged Dhurandhar. See, this is the response I was expecting from Bollywood. Because what Dhurandhar achieved is not about JUST the movie's Box office (which of course is extraordinary), but for it's quality in every aspect and what impact such a polished product had on how the BW industry is perceived. Other Indian movie industries were saying since decades that Bollywood is all silly movies, no originality, copying South, syrupy romance, all fluff no substance. Of course there were great movies from BW also but they were, mostly, small in reach. Or put aside as ''a fluke''. Dhurandhar, being such a big box Office success and also being such a quality product, with excellent performances and superb techincal feats , elevates all Bollywood, in my humble opinion.
