Finally Saw the series. What a WILD Engaging show that keeps you hooked right from the first frame.I usually take 2-3 settings to finish a web-series but this one made me sit through the entire thing in one go!The show is so ENTERTAINING that you get sucked into its world right from the first episode.I expected a routine take on Bollywood but what unfolded was beyond my expectations!

The show has so many surprises that keeps you stunned at several points in the narrative. The very first scene gives you goosebumps when a stunt goes wrong .The entire journey of an outsider who tries to make it big has been depicted so convincingly. The struggles feel so real which is why you connect with the show instantly. However one must be a true movie buff to connect all the dots here with several references to real events that further enhance the impact .

The love story between the two leads (nepo/outsider) is quite sweet until the twist in the final episode that truly throws you off the carpet .In fact the twist is as shocking as Gupt(1997) from which the germ of twist is planted. The title is truly justified at this point of time!

The adult humor works big time here. The colorful language that has been used blends seamlessly with the narrative. In fact the F word starts to feel normal after a point with everyone from age 19- 70 speaking it!There are several shocking scenes that leave you dazzled and stunned!

Also the emotional quotient is quite strong here .The bonding between a father/son duo is quite heart warming. How an ailing father still roots for his son truly makes you warm and fuzzy .Similarly the bond between Lakshya and Raghav makes you realize the definition of true friendship .

On the flip side , the plot stagnates after a point .5th episode onwards things especially feel bit too repetitive. The same thing has been repeated again and again!Heavy editing was the need of hour.

Lakshya is a star to watch out for .His screen presence is truly remarkable and you can not take your eyes off him.The chemistry between Raghav and him is electrifying.Bobby Deol is in great form and you hate him with a great passion until the mystery is revealed which makes a great sense .Mona Singh is outstanding in the final episode as a helpless mother .The various cameos that have been injected make for a hilarious watch .Emraan Hashmee and Shahrukh shine in particular!

Overall a knockout debut by dutector Aryan Khan .He has made an entertaining show that can be watched again and again!A treat for all Bollywood fans!!

Your review reflects a lot of my own thinking smiley1

Btw, initially it should have been a series of 6 episodes...but then - with all the material... (it reminded me what Karan said about the editing of his own movies smiley36 )

What I loved in addition are the comic-like opening credits in combination with the song.

It's not that I don't like to read comments about the show on Twitter and under YouTube videos but, honestly, I would so so much more prefer to read ideas/comments of members here... there is so much this series tells us (starting with the protagonist's name...the apple...the confidence... the physicality...)...the realities all woven into a fictitious narration...art meeting commerce... power systems unmasked as weak... privileges not making happy... togetherness through work resulting in separating consequences... the neglected ones imposing themselves...

The BOB is a gorgeous treasure chest - for many filled with gems, for others filled with pebbles... but let KI tell you the benefits of pebbels: "Pebbles offer benefits in landscaping (aesthetics, moisture retention, weed control, erosion prevention), construction (strength, durability in concrete and facades), arts and crafts (inspiration for mosaics and sculptures), and science and education (studying geological processes). They also provide health benefits, such as improved balance and pain relief, when used for walking."
