I agree with a lot of what you say. You shouldn't walk on eggshells in your relationship. A healthy relationship does involve good-natured leg pulling. And people do change or do things to please their partners - shave, cut their hair, change wardrobes, and whatnot.

But there is a difference between doing things out of choice to make your partner happy versus doing things because your partner demands it from you.

That is why to a certain extent - I can give Ranbir the benefit of the doubt. Maybe this was a one off or maybe Alia didn't retell the story correctly and he was kidding or gave her a choice.

If you make all your ladies wipe off their lipstick, you will never get caught with lipstick on your collar.
