How is it that a few actors have so much money and so many other actors have no money at all?

I think we humans underestimate the power of saving some of your salaries from the time you are able to. Sure, living a luxurious life might make you happy but there will come a day when your savings can help you live.

Take the lockdown, for example. Imagine how many people didn't have money to survive during these months?

Actors and sportspersons are probably the ones left with not that much money in their old age. There should be some retirement fund set up for them by their association. Its sad that many of them end up in this situation. And they can not always depend on their kids.

If I remember correctly, one of the reasons she wanted to work was also to become financially independent as she didn't want to depend on her family.

Have high regard for her as an artist as well as a human. _/\_

So sad. Sickness and financial crunch are hell itself when they come together. Hope she recovers. Character artists are paid so badly they have to work in their old age due to financial compulsion and not just passion
