Akshay can give a 28 Crore opening with Mission Mangal which Ranveer can't so he's already above Ranveer Singh's level.

Simple logic..the more heights u reach the fall hurts more..SRK's peak was much much higher than his contemporaries..so now when he isn't as successful people talk about it a lot more..Akshay's is a slow n steady progress..from being called a wooden actor and masala action hero, he has come a long way. I would say people await his movies and expect them to be good. And he has attempted all genres successfully so deserves all the credit.

Baaki to SRK ka relevance dekhna hai to just see the crowd at Mannat on his bday..no one else gets so much hype n attention on their big day..once a star always a star.

If he reinvents himself like AB Sr. he will sustain. Else he will still be remembered as one of the biggest superstar of our times

Salman barely makes good movies and his bad movies make twice as much as Akshay or any other actor in bollywood but when he does a really good film it does wonders

Housefull 4 has emerged the fifth highest grosser worldwide as it GROSS business hits 290 crore after 25 days. The film should add a few more though will probably fall short of the 300 crore mark. It is the highest Akshay Kumar worldwide grosser in Hindi beating the numbers of Mission Mangal and 2.0 (Hindi).

The top film of 2019 is War (Hindi) which will do around 445 crore plus and this film is also the tenth highest worldwide grosser ever. Akshay Kumar can create history this year by hitting the 1000 crore mark worldwide as there is Good Newwz to come. This has been done if we take into account ticket price inflation and with China but never in raw collections and never with Hindi films alone. The closest was Salman Khan in 2016 when Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem Ratan Dhan Payo went to 970 crore apprx.

Akshay Kumar has accumalated 770 crore so far and with a completed Housefull 4 run it could be a few crore higher and this will leave Good Newwz to get over 225 crore which should be easily in range for the film. The comedy will not be expected to to do a Housefull 4 in India as its more for the urban audience but Overseas it can score very well and it should take the Akshay Kumar tally to 1000 crore worldwide box office GROSS in 2019 which will be history. Although it makes little difference if it ends in 995 crore as its still huge but 1000 crore is a benchmark and more than that it will first time ever. The top ten worldwide grossers in 2019 are as follows

2. Kabir Singh - 370 crore

2. Uri - The Surgical Strike - 338 crore

4. Bharat - 304 crore

5. Housefull 4 - 290 crore (25 days)

6. Mission Mangal - 277 crore

If akshay does it it’s impressive. I won’t say it’s cause he does more films as every hero can always make more. Good for akshay. I don’t know if his 2020 films will bear the same result. If they they do and Dabangg 3 & Radhe far below expectations than it’s his yard 👏
