I find it completely normal.. He does not continue to stare.. After the inItial surprise and awkwardness, they both turn away.. So nah.. Still don't get the hoopla around it

Cuz he viewed her as a buddy.. one of the guys.. and when he first saw her in a saree, he does not thnk oh my what a hot bod.. He is surprised at the transition.. They have an awkward moment and he realizes she is not the same larko jesi Anjali he remembers.. even after seeing her in a saree, he does remember her tom boy avatar in the very same song that is the object of discussion.. So I don't get the whole panga😆

Anjali n Rahul both view each other as friend ,not romantic partner. This seeing him as a guy girl thing is different,sure they know ek dusreka gender Kya h. But they didn't see each other romantically. I think it speaks a lot that they went for physical way for the guy n not for the girl.shows the team behind camera n writing were mainly guys n the film has a for malegaze vibe.

It also speaks of kjo's incompetent directing. He shows progress by hitting u with hint in the head,no subtlety. I think the gazebo scene was great, was enough to show the changing equation, it's sensual, sweet,full of Sparks. Makes Rahul look real. The first transition of feelings scene should have been on that track, subtler. The pallu one makes him a shallow character. Not good for character building imo.

Even a show on TV like mjht did much better in showing how sexual tension developed between two friends. You can like the scene no harm in that,for me, I think that scene had a very ogling vibe n made the whole romance shallow
