Tired of seeing Akshay Kumar in every film - Page 2

Akshay is a special case in BW; he really lucked out by finding a niche for himself only that appeals to masses and didn’t require him to reinvent himself. Even stars like SRK, Hrithik and Aamir have (had) to reinvent themselves as their old formula doesn’t work anymore. So in that sense I do admire his hustle; the man is clever.

BUT it is now too obvious that he is in it for the money only and has no real passion for movies. Otherwise he would choose better scripts and space out his movies. He and his opportunistic wife come across as super sneaky and snooty.

Akshay is the male version of Kareena, except that Kareena is lazy af and hence doesn’t feel like filming 24/7. She has relied on her past popularity for years now to make money. Both are pathetic.

I am tired of many things too. But there's a certain way to put across your point in contructive manner. Not a fan of anyone, but even i can say that i am tired of seeing insensitive topics. Guess, why i dont say?

yes actually more than atleast 500-600 Hindi movies per year, and mainstream around 100+.

Last year itself over 1000 movies released.

Can Akki come back to doing comedies that are not Housefull series? Tired of seeing him do DeshBhakti movies. I am only looking forward to Sooryavanshi from his upcoming movies that too because of Akki-Kat pairing.

Nah, I enjoy watching him on screen......have come to trust his consistent choice of good movies. Few might not have turned to be as entertaining as the other but they still cannot be tagged as ridiculous or boring.

Plus he is still fit and handsome 😳so I like watching him onscreen unlike the other actors in their 50s

he is not like Alia cause Nobody forces the producers / directors to cast him, like how KJO do for Alia........ rest I agree with, he brings nothing unique to his characters, its the same old same old, whether its this movie or that movie.......

@bold Oh I completely agree that he's been in a couple of good movies in recent times but now I feel like he's in every second film like Alia and I'm tired of seeing him so much. It's only natural.

I love his movies and I was glad he stopped doing useless sexist movies of sajid and Farah for a while. But seeing back to back his movies with social messages was tiring and I stopped watching him for a while. Not because I don't like his acting anymore but just because tired of watching him. Haven't watched goal, keshari, and if any other movie he did after padman.
