Will Kesari be Akshay Kumar Highest Grosser in Bollywood?

Bollywood Khiladi Akshay Kumar's one of the most anticipated movies, Kesari hit the theatred on 21st March, 2019 in the auspicious day of Holi. The film is based on the life story of Havildar Ishar Singh who participates in the Battle of Saragarhi in which an army of 21 Sikhs fought against 10,000 Afghans in the year 1897, has been released with 4200 screen count worldwide. Directed by Anurag Singh, Kesari received positivie review from critics and created strong buzz.

After collecting massive amount of Rs. 100.01 Crore in 7 days, Kesari saw good jump on 2nd Sunday. It collected Rs. 8.25 Crore on 11th day to take it's lifetime collection to Rs. 125.01 Crore. Kesari become biggest opener for 2019 and fastest grosser of Rs. 100 Crore too. Kesari has also got decent collection from overseas and took its worldwide collection to Rs. 161.51 Crore. Apart from Akshay Kumar, Kesari casts Parineeti Chopra, Mir Sarwar, Vansh Bhardwaj, Jaspreet Singh, Vivek Saini and Vikram Kochhar in supporting roles. Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra along with Supporting casts managed to enthral the audiences with their breathtaking performance. The word of mouth is very strong. It remains to be seen if Kesari manage to collect Rs. 150 to 160 Crore in its lifetime run which may be Akshay Kumar's highest grossing movie in Bollywood
