I'm really happy for Kangana. She really needed a success.

Anyways her first weekend alone was excellent for a woman-centric movie.

Watched Manikarnika last sunday. It was Kangana show all around, she played each phase amazingly, looked innocent , fierce and empowering. There is no one i see in industry who could have played this role better than her. Scene where she won't bow down to British officer gave goosebumps.👏

Support cast did well but movie was around 30 mins long and dankila song was unnecessary. Overall good watch, I hope this movie emerges hit.

i saw movie again last night, theater was almost packed. the respect kangana got from this movie from audience is freaking unbelievable. ppl were literally on their feet clapping when movie ended. amazing. i must say i haven't seen such a huge, epic performance from an actress for longest time. her act is like a super star...hogs every bit of screen, her presence is unbelievable.

if anyone maybe her will bring changes to actresses getting their dues. maybe when she becomes a director she will only focus on ladies than mards...hope she chops all actors roles and focus on actresses.

as i exit, i overheard some saying: 'kangana neh khudh direct kiya hai'

actually i went to see ELKDTAL but since my cousin wanted to really see manikarnika , i end up watching again. elkdtal will see on tuesday.

Folks, final numbers aside, this reception is great for a woman led film. 👏

Kangana has benefited a lot from this labor of love. And easily redeems her last few years professionally. She said last time she got so much love was Queen. 😊

It already crossed 100cr worldwide. 👏

Ab chaahe average tag hi miley, this movie will be remembered when comparing woman led movies. 😳

What more can her fans wish for!

By tonight, it should cross 75 and beat Neerja. Slow and steady run over the next week or so until Gully should bring in lifetime of ~85-90 Cr total.

And if people still complain it's a flop, then I'm proud to have a woman's movie flopping at such high earnings like we see with the Khans. 😛
