Deepika most definitely deserved to be there.People are so ready to discredit her. 😆 Her Jauhar scene and the strength she portrayed through her eyes > >> any other alternatives suggested.

At one point Tabu was so annoyed that she goes " That's what I am saying" to Rani when Rani acted oversmart. 😆

I am almost at the 25-minute mark. So far Tapsee is the most articulate. And she has sweet features too. I feel she might be underrated in terms of looks. Not esthetically pretty but very cute types with more feminine features than the likes of Alia.

Deepika is also not very articulate. If you watch carefully she often struggles for words when she is trying to say something inciteful. Alia is not either. But she also doesn't try that hard to come across poised or graceful. I mean she probably knows she isn't either of those things so she doesn't. Deepika is except for when it comes to having command in interviews. She has none whatsoever. Even Alia never gets stuck searching for words the way she does. The only time I was genuinely impressed with Deepika's expression of thoughts was when she was rewarded the Indian of the year award.
